Do any of you think we have a chance of losing Weber?

Listening to the radio today they were discussing the issue. Some info I learned is that it is a Big Ten rule that if you sign an LOI with one Big Ten school and ask to get out of it you can in fact go play for another Big Ten school but they prohibit you from recieving any scholorship in the Big Ten for the remainder of your college career. They also said that if you leave after signing an LOI you can go to any NCAA school outside of the Big Ten however you have to sit out a year of football and pay full tuition for that year before you are eligible for scholorship money.

It's really an unfair criticism. No coach who is in the midst of possibly changing jobs advertises that fact to recruits. They just keep doing their job, including recruiting, until they formally accept another position and leave.

And while I can understand some bitching if a kid goes to a particular school because of a certain head coach, position coaches are changed all the time as it is common for the good ones to get promoted.
 

Guess the coaches at Cass are over the whole Weber thing, eh?

Didn't see this hardware on their trip to TTUN.

I'm interested in knowing what was in that. Looks like the picture/tweet was deleted.
 
I imagine the coach finally realized having an idiotic feud with a top 3 college program was not good for his school.

And since Ohio State offered him a small fortune to be used for Cass Tech's athletic department.... it's all good now!

(made up story... I made it up. I have no idea how much OSU sent him, but I bet he got a free meal out of it on OSU's dime!)
 
He picked Minnesota.
 

I can see it taking some recruits away, but nothing major. Not like we aren't already taking recruits from Michigan cough*Weber*cough*
