OSU Recruiting Thread

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Rashard Lawrence announcing his decision between LSU and Ohio State at 11:30pm ET today. Fairly confident he will pick LSU, which sucks because he would be a HUGE get and fill a HUGE need, but we'll see. Jamar King, come on down!

Sam Bruce cancelled his official visit with Florida, and has been crystal balled to Ohio State. Cryptic tweets from Zach Smith make it seem pretty much a done deal.
I assume you mean AM?

Sounds like he's LSU bound after the Buckeyes offered Keyshon Camp, who is a USC commit. I'll be paying attention, though.

I feel like he wouldn't hold this press conference in his HS or wherever he is in Louisiana if he wasn't picking LSU. Everyone there wants him to pick LSU. So he's doing it for the reaction. But maybe I am wrong.

I think he's picking LSU regardless, but I'm pretty sure Zeke picked OSU over Mizzou at his HS in Missouri.

Soooo, Haskins tweeted out something yesterday and now I think it is deleted. I can not find it. It said something like,

"Got some big news tomorrow Buckeye Nation. You know how we do Mondays. 3 again :confused2: #shhhh"

And if you remember, on January 18th, a Monday, we got the commitments of Haskins, Victor & Jones.

I am not sure who all is supposed to announce today, but I know Jordan Fuller, ESPN300 #151- ATH 4*, is supposed to announce tonight. And 247 crystal ball is 81% OSU now.

Damar Hamlin, 4* CB, is supposed to announce today at 6pm. He has been HEAVILY recruited by OSU, with OSU gaining momentum. But it is likely he is going to pull a Rashard Lawrence and stay at home, with Pitt. We also have 3 pretty nice CB's already committed, so that could not end up well for one of them. But Hamlin would definitely be on top of that list.

Jamar King, the 3* JUCO guy, is planning on making a decision anytime now. It is basically between Bama & OSU. King loves that his family is within driving distance of OSU. Meyer has said if he picks OSU, he will have a spot.

So those could be the 3 players we may land today. That would be pretty damn awesome if we can land Fuller/Hamlin. I haven't looked into King too much, but the fucker is 26 years old, will be here for 1 year. I honestly don't even want him. But that is the definition of a man going up against boys. Could use that, as long as he has a level head on those shoulders.

He might be a good stop gap for some of ye young players to develop. I am a little worried about the depth at the dline exspecialy up the middle.

RE: Jamar King... I read that Bama may not have a spot to give him, so in that scenario it's between OSU and UCF. Considering the Buckeyes swung and missed on some top tier DT I wouldn't mind King for a year as a stop gap, or injury insurance, and then open up a scholarship for next year.

Fuller, most would think, is OSU's #1 target at this point and getting him would be huge. Luckily, he also sounds like the most likely of our remaining targets to pick the good guys. This would be a big H2H recruiting win for Meyer over Mr. Netflix and Chill.

I know all logic says otherwise, but damnit I hope Haskins knows something we don't on Hardman Jr. That would be the BOOM of all BOOMs.

Hamlin commits to Pitt
