The second half of the Mavs/Warriors game was awesome to watch. They almost had the series but Dirk stepped up and GS choked. Cant wait for game 6, in Oakland, should be fun!

Did you even watch the game? If you did, you wouldn't say that because he couldn't play at the end of it when they needed him...Also had 31 and 8 shooting 11-18 from the field (over 60%)..

I am just mucking around. Everyone was on Dirk after he flopped in the playoffs. If Nash gets defeated as well by the Spurs, he too has achieved as much. The MVP race was for the regular season and everyone carried on like old woman about Dirk despite his playoff troubles being irrelevant to the MVP race.

Gotcha. People were a little harsh on Dirk.

But I still liked Nash as MVP before the playoffs started, but as we will find out soon - I am definitely in the minority with my thoughts...

The Spurs majorly choking down the stretch giving the Suns the upper hand in this series.

I still don't feel Dirk is an MVP deserving player...

They won 67 games, that team is loaded with talent all over the place, if you remove Dirk they still win around 40-45 games...remove LeBron and we barely win 20..remove Kobe and they might be in the low teens in the win column.

Kobe should have been the MVP...give him Dirk's team and they'd still be playing right now..Kobe set some crazy records this year.

Kobe plays tough D as well as insane offense...if Dirk isn't scoring he's worthless on floor..may as well call him Irk Nowitzki there's no D in his game..

I believe you are too harsh on Nowitski. He isn't a strong defender, but still a rather smart one. Good rebounder, excellant vison, good passer, best shooting big men ever, lead his team to easily the best record, in which he did carry them at times. This to me had him in the top 2. Unfortunately for Kobe and anyone else in his position, you need to have W's to back up your numbers.
