OU vs. Missouri

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
^its gotta be someone....the whole rankings this year were pretty lame, people talk about all the upsets, while there were a lot of them, there were lots of weak teams that got high rankings because of other teams losing...i mean Kansas, Missouri, South Florida, Boston College were good teams, but top 5 teams? Come on, those guys could get beat by 5 teams behind them.

And for the people who bitch and moan about a playoff system, how wasnt the end of this year a playoff system? Win or your out.

Georgia didn't even go to the SEC Champ.
Kansas didn't even go to the Big 12 Champ.
VT got killed by LSU, and if the voters forget about that, I will lose what little faith I have in college football.

ohhhh and lets talk about the Rose Bowl, is it really going to be Kansas vs. USC? man that will be some funny shiiiiiiiiiit.

LSU vs osu would be good, but LSU is pretty banged up and there defense has been suspect since Dorsey got chop blocked against Auburn and i think Docet is hurt as well, as well as Holliday, once again, itll be osu's game to lose.

The Big East should be ashamed of itself for implementing such biased officiating into a game of such importance with WVU/Pitt. Was there any question who the refs were pulling for? The Big East really wanted that NC Game cash.

Florida was real banged up after the SEC title game last year as well. Thing is, they had a month to get healthy. The Gators were the most healthy they were all year when they played the Buckeyes.

The good thing about playing LSU is it's a shot at redemption for OSU, after the blow out last year. Beating the SEC champ is as close to vengeance as we can get with out actually playing Florida.

The bad thing about playing LSU is most have been saying all year they are the best team in the country. Victory is far from guaranteed.

The good thing about playing LSU is most have been saying all year they are the best team in the country. The good thing about playing the best is you almost can't lose. If you lose, everyone is like "Hey, you lost to the best, what did you expect?" If you win, now you're the best. Contrast this to playing a team like Hawaii, where you can't win. If we beat Hawaii for the title, you'd hear people talking about astricks and how it was a joke title. If we lose, people would be making fun of us like they were UM with App State.

The bad thing about playing LSU is it's a home game for the Tigers, which is kind of BS. Oh well, Ohio State is always going to have to travel far to go to a good bowl game.

At any rate, I'm just glad we're getting our shot. This will be the third national title game appearance since 2002, more than any other school. At Ohio State, we play for title.

Wow, Hawaii was down by 21 when i went to bed last night and they ended up winning? Way to shit the bed Washington. Now we get to hear about a "deserving" Hawaii team. At least the Chase Daniel "deserving" Heisman talk can end, but i have a feeling they wont give it to a sophmore just because. I dont like Tebow just because he plays for UF and is a ****ing meat head/typical UF student but he deserves it.

Hawaii has the worst SOS in college football. That cannot be shoved under the rug.

Well, once Colt is gone, its back to mediocrity for them.

Hawaii didn't lose to an unranked team. OSU did, the BCS system is clearly flawed. A team that goes undefeated isn't even considered for anything is a joke. It's not like they didn't play some ranked teams...

Its pretty simple, Hawaii isnt going to generate any money for anything.

Watched the Rainbow Warriors last night.

It's interesting, everyone says that Hawaii's problem is that no one on the East Coast watches them... Having watched them, they're ranked where they should be.

I'd love to see Hawaii against a Missouri/Kansas/West Virginia type in the bowl season. We'll see what they're made of. If Hawaii wants to be considered an elite team; however, they'll have to start scheduling some out of conference teams. Ask any MAC school, it's the only way to get any respect.

OSU is far from the only top-tier team to lose to an unranked team this year. Lest we forget, the mighty LSU went down to unranked Arkansas last week.

But, then again, LSU is in the SEC, so no one questions their street cred.

lost to an Arkansas team with the best player in the country on the team.

With Darren McFadden...

Not to mention if Hawaii beats whoever they play in their bowl game it's gonna prove they deserved to be in the BCS Championship.

MAC schools are respected?

Hawaii beat a ranked team in Boise State and I don't believe a MAC school has done that this year... That should give them respect right there...

Hawaii should just "be happy to get there" i dont get all these Hawaii supporters every year saying "they should be there" they are in the Sugar Bowl....congrats on being the second team from a non BCS confrence to get there. The only way youll see teams with smaller "fan bases" get to the big game is if you made it like March Madness and you see teams like Mason actually beat others to make it there. But that will never happen and doesnt need to.

For those bitching and moaning about a "playoff system" how was the last few weeks not like a playoff? Win and your in, lose and your out (unless your osu). Its fine the way it is, and the odds of what happened this season happening again arent to likely....but hey, ive been wrong before.

edit: Hawaii aint beating VT....
