Peyton Hillis in ICU

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Best wishes for his recovery.

This guy was the ultimate one and done.

not a lot of details about what happened yet, but I did run into this--- Didn't know he tried acting.

"It's obvious this animal didn't kill for food…" It must've killed out of spite! Black Mandala Productions has unveiled an early promo trailer for another new werewolf film titled The Hunting, marking the feature narrative directorial debut of filmmaker Mark Andrew Hamer (executive producer for I See You). The basic logline for this sounds like every other werewolf film but that's not surprising: When a mysterious animal attack leaves a mutilated body in the forest, a conservative small town detective must enlist the help of an eager wildlife specialist to uncover the dark & disturbing truth that threatens the town. Most of the footage in this trailer is filled with all the usual werewolf tropes including wolves, but it finally breaks form at the end. The film stars Peyton Hillis, Joelle Westwood, Joaquin Guerrero, Keith Migra, Angela Cole, and Alan Tuskes. This was shot mostly in Ohio and Michigan.

Not to be disrespectful, but I'm trying to figure out the dynamics of how you can save 2 kids, yet render yourself into critical condition. I mean, did he toss the kids towards shore then get consumed by waves? Did someone rescue him?

Brief googling led me to acute renal failure associated with inhalation of sea-water/near drowning. I'd imagine if he saved two kids at the same time, he didn't save one and then the other... he grabbed them both, swam while carrying two kids, inhaled a shit-load of water while trying to keep them afloat, had enough strength and oxygen to get to shore, but the oxygen deprivation and ingested water cause him to go into shock and renal failure followed. The below link lines up with his uncle's update regarding his kidneys.

Disclaimer... I'm the furthest thing from a doctor and haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in years.

We have a family friend that unfortunately passed due to a similar situation a year or so ago. Father saved the kids and was able to push them out of the rip tide but was unable to get himself out. Very realistic possibility after exerting so much energy to get your kids out of danger you have nothing left in the tank for yourself.

Any update on this?

Guy is still having a rough time.
I'm betting on him.

Fond memories of him until the end. Hope he pulls through, what a heroic gesture of love.
