Which photoshop programs are actually worth the price??? I kinda like my left arm and don't want have to sell it on the black market just for a photoshop program.

Its not that I am unwilling to spen money. I bought a photoshop proggie about a year ago now. I think photosuite...... something like that...... not in front of me. That thing is far from user friendly, mostly frustrating.

Also, you can check out Adobe Photoshop Elements. It's much cheaper than CS3, and way easier to use. You won't get all of the usual Photoshop features, but there are still plenty of them in Elements.

Use to get pirate stuff all the time, no anymore. Make good money now, and since my job is security sensitive, don't feel like losing it becuase I didn't want to spend a buck or two.

Ya photoshop is by far the best. Its pretty safe if you just know somebody who has it and you just install it on your computer.

For free, the best 2 are GIMP and paint.net

GIMP is more popular but i found paint.net to be better than it and 10 times easier to use

GIMP ftw. But honestly, photoshop isn't worth the $500 they want to spend unless you plan on doing graphic design for a living. If it's just for a hobby, download it like the rest of us internet pirates.

Photoshop is $1000. Photoshop >> Gimp. I've had photoshop for about 2 years.. I downloaded and cracked it. Pretty simple. Not a single penny out my pocket.

I have gimp just because i'm too cheap to pay for anything else. I mainly just use it for sigs so no reason for me to get photoshop unless i got it for free lol.......

ya i hacked PS too but i bet no one on this board has tried paint.net because its not famous.
If you are serious download both and see which is better
