More importantly iggy. Do you have any idea how lopsided this would be if iggy couldn't iggy while defending lebron? It'd literally be a sweep.

or how about their refusal to foul him out in the 4th? They'll give Draymond/Klay their 4 fouls but it makes no difference. They won't be taken out of the game, ever.

How bad would it be for the league to see a Cavs team without 2 of its SUPERSTARS beat the golden darlings of the NBA who held the best record and were heralded as the team to beat the entire year?

I agree with bobthecat - the league wants Curry to be the face of the league going forward (baby face ASSASSIN you say?)

The fix is in! The media would HATE to have to talk about guys like JR and Delly and how LeBron is right up there with Jordan all summer long - again, winning it without 2 SUPERSTARS.

Yes, he certainly said that. He's still salty about getting canned - even though he is right about the screens.

I thought it was JVG who said it. He said GSW has been playing illegal defense and moving screens all series.

Now wait a minute. This doesn't make sense.

If the league is so obviously fixed that the fan watching on TV can see it, how does it make any sense that the players playing in the game can't see it?

And then if they do see it but choose to do nothing about it (when they certainly can) what does that mean?

No player will jeopardize their money or family's safety to say things. I wish they would though.

They keep saying, "has a superstar ever not gotten these fouls?" It's shitty, but we should make our ft's too.

Apparently the rule book was rewritten before this series started to allow for jersey grabbing and moving screens.

The Jersey grab isn't even a judgement call. A moving screen can be at times, but the jersey grab is just bullshit.

What can they do about it? Throw money down a hole??

I believe coming into the series the talk was how great the Warriors are at setting screens. Well yeah when you set illegal screens the whole game your shooters should get open. I do have to say they cover all the options, holding, pushing, moving, tripping and even jumping in the air and throwing out arms and legs.

Their have been bad calls on both sides but its the picks that have drove me nuts this series. I can entirely see how JR just ran over a guy. The other thing that has driven me crazy is that Green can't shut up. He can mug a guy and insist that it was a clean play.

Good ole David Stern of course called bull crap in regards to Tim Donaughee. Of course Stern stated "He's just upset he got caught, don't listen to what he is saying, he's just sour groups" I 110% agree with what Donaughee stated. Refs are told by the league office that the fans are there to see the stars, not you (Refs). Don't foul out the stars. Well isn't that amazing they never foul out? That isn't by accident either. Why do you think it's always the same officials reffing big games? I believe it's so they can continue to control the games like always. They know who will win and not win. The calls are so INCONSISTENT. One end it's a foul, the other end forget about calling it. It can't be this way. It has to go both way's, but not in the NBA's eye it doesn't. Joey Crawford, I don't care if he has a quick whistle or not, he needs to go. He's the head of the snake IMO. It's easy for him to have a quick whistle, so whenever a player argues he only gets to say two or 3 words and then its okay I don't want to get tossed or T'd up. It's easier to have him keep control of things and not bring too much spectacle to a HORRIBLE call. So yes, I do believe in most of what he stated about how the NBA truly is. Watching this series, has brought it to light even more IMO.

Don't be that naive to think it was just one guy. The NBA literally just had a convicted felon ref Game 5 of the Finals.

No one said this. Why does the NBA cares who wins? They care how many games the series is and how many people watch it.

Two convicted felons reffed game 4.

LeBron has fouled out of six games his entire pro life. Of these six--two of them were during the playoffs: the ref? Joey Crawford, who also ejected Tim Duncan for laughing on the bench!! The NBA suspended him for this after he resigned for his felony conviction.

("I’d also like to point out that LeBron James has has actually fouled out of two playoff losses in games officiated by Crawford, which is actually very significant when you consider the fact that he’s only fouled out of 6 games total for his entire career. - See more at: http://footbasket.com/nba/lebron-james-actual-playoff-record-joey-crawford/#sthash.Ja0UUysU.dpuf). What Is LeBron James’ ACTUAL Playoff Record Under Joey Crawford?

Why does the NBA still assign Joey to all these key Finals and playoffs? That's the question. He of the same high school as Deneghy (two other refs also went to the same high school and, yep, officiated in these playoffs and finals.

I believe it's one of two things: because Joey knows too much and they try to appease him; or the NBA wants an intended result, and who better than the master to execute this result?

Is there such a thing as the Players Union or am I imagining it?

And who exactly is going to shut them up? The owners......which would then imply the owners are then in on it.

You know, when the Bulls fans were bitching about Rose not getting to the line for like two plus games I don't recall that many bleeding hearts on here suggesting the series was fixed in our favor..............what happened?
