Point made, but that was a completely different era of the Salary Cap and the Ht Rod contract represented a much higher percentage of the cap at that time than Gee at 4 million a year would now, That Hot Rod contract was also some ridiculous length like 10 years( or am I getting that confused with the Ferry contract?)
Anyways, my main argument for not just let Gee walk is that we need to capitalize on all assets. I want to either keep him and let him see if he can be core top-8 rotation guy or let him build some more value and trade him. Do not let him walk for nothing.
