Out of all of the trade ideas I have seen with Knicks I like this one the best. Don't get me wrong, I am not a fan of trading with that team but I do like this deal proposed. When healthy Q is a solid 3 pt shooter and good on D. I like Lee as well. If this were the deal on the table I would pull the trigger on this.

his fg%35 last year and 3pt was 32% his career numbers are about the same and the only healthy season he has had was the 04-05 season. We talking about the same Q?

It's not about Richardson. The trade is about bringing David Lee in. In order to obtain David Lee one would assume the Cavaliers would have to eat a bad contract.
Snow/Pavlovic works financially but I don't see why NY would have any interest in that since Q only has 2 more years. They want guys who who have 3+ years remaining gone.

Decent proposal, but the Knicks would want a pick for Lee. He is their main chip to unload Randolph, and they're gonna be hesitant to make any move that has him included in it unless Randolph is part of the deal.

For the Cavaliers... this is a lateral move with Pavs. Lee is still basically unproven, and we'd have to give-up a pick to get him, and then we'd have to use him. I doubt that the Cavaliers would trade a pick to acquire Lee... even with what he's shown.

if we're going to get david lee the knicks are going to want us to take one of their bad contracts like Curry of Randolph. i dont think we really need QR since we traded for mo will. we need a SG that is a solid perimeter defender and we need to add depth to our front court most importantly.

I'm all about bringing in David Lee, but only for some of our expiring scrubs. If their trying to unload a bad contract Ferry should keep walking. One) It hurts our chances of nabbing another superstar and; Two) Why help the team that's targeting our franchise player by freeing up their money? (Same reason I'd be hesitant with the Nets too and Vince, amongst other reasons).
