Cleveland:
Haslem

Memphis:
Snow and maybe miami's first round pick

Miami:
Crittention or Jaric

Why for cavs: need an atlhectic big that can defend, score, and rebound.

* Im not sure how realstic he is but he fits what we need

Why for Memphis: Small Market teams can always use cap space. They are building a young talented team and if they can throw big bucks at big-name free agent they could possibly make the playoffs.

*im not sure if they would trade crittenton or jaric without getting young talent in return.

Why for Miami: They need a point guard if they want to attempt to make the playoffs. Critteton is a good improving young PG. He is very athlectic and has a bright future. Jaric also plays PG but is more of a SG. Jaric is a good player that would be more ready to be a starter.

* I dont know what kind of PG the heat or looking for but those seem like good options.Jaric also has 3 years left on his contract so depends if they want to take that on.

This is very similar to the one I posted before only though Miami got Tinsley. I realized Tinsley would not be worth it unless he was bought out.

Thoughts?

For Memphis, they wouldn't give up Crittenton for just anything. (And Snow's contract won't work CBA-wise). Jaric however has negative value, so there's no reason Miami would want him.

What do you mean CBA wise? I dont know much about that stuff so can you clue me in?

Collective Bargaining Agreement

However, in this case, the CBA doesn't factor-in because Memphis has 10 million in cap-room.

In most cases, teams are over the cap, and if they are, then the players being traded need to be comparable salary-wise... within 125% of one-another.

This trade would work, but it doesn't really help the Cavaliers. The Cavs have 3 guys who can play PF: Wallace,Varejao, and Hickson. The Cavs need a back-up Center, not another PF... although a cheap one will likely be signed. Varejao and Ilgauskas is all they have (Contrary to popular belief, Wallace almost never plays center).

Miami would love this trade. They'd get a good, young PG, and dump a lot of salary - well-worth a 1st round pick and Haslem.

Memphis wouldn't be too keen on this deal either... they aren't really looking to add payroll (Snow- his salary would still count against the cap... even though the insurance would pay for most of it). And the pick by itself isn't that big of a deal... they have stock-piled quite a few of them.

None-the-less, the Cavaliers would only do this deal if other options fell through.

This will not happen, it's not possible... d west + pick for haslem is possible...
again, we need to focus on A LOCK DOWN DEFENDER being our sg... we have offensive weapons!! we need someone who could shutdown opposing team best perimeter player!!

I don't want lebron to be the lock down defender, it will tear he down!!
