I wouldn't call a 6 point loss an ass raping, plus they didn't have Calderon today and he's making the trip to Cleveland tomorrow. I'm just not confident in this team winning a lot of games. We're simply not very good. Just a week ago we were polishing off our 6th loss in a row that included home losses to New Orleans, Boston and Utah and a road loss to Washington. We're young and inconsistent.
true. didnt see that it was only 6 points, but it was to the bucks. i was mainly referring to their destruction by the pistons. shouldnt have used the 'ass raping' moniker. my bad. i agree a lot that this team isnt good at all, the problem is a lot of teams in the east are just really really awful.

the difference is the Knicks have lost 5 straight and we have won 3 straight against + .500 teams

we are two games behind them in the win column and even with them in losses

never say never
Didn't say never, but doesn't it say something that they could lose 5 in a row, we could win 3 in a row and we'd still be 2 behind in the win column? Going through the schedule I could see a best case of 12 wins, which would tie us with NY by my estimation. Its not impossible but its a long shot.

We also can't forget about Milwaukee in all of this who has 14 home games left compared to just 11 on the road, and they have had the toughest SOS in the East so far

I am not going to discount the Bucks ,but the Knicks are imploding

we will be fighting for the 8th seed barring a firesale

if AV comes back I like our chances

nice to see that we're playing well, but we really need to lose this year

Funny to check the standing and see after all the complaints about is winning these last three games, we're still where we've been most of the season, in the #8 draft slot. To hear some people talk the past few days, we'd already sewn up the a pick in the #14-18 range.

Yep. This team is a Vegas nightmare. Tough to gauge, night in and night out, exactly what you're going to get results wise. Effort? Ya, pretty much count on that being there night in and night out. Unfortunately, though, with our roster being so young and inconsistant, it makes it hard to figure how it's going to translate.
They're going to have good games and bad games. They're going to have winning streaks and losing streaks. But, in the long term big picture(something many on here have trouble grasping), they are neither the worst team in the league nor some up and coming playoff Cinderella. The ride, for the most part, has been pretty enjoyable. For as little talent as we have on the roster, our hustle, guys like Gee, and our amazing ROY have really made this a fun team to watch. Not often you can say that about a team who most experts thought would be a bottom 5 cellar dwellar this year. Amazing what a good HC and true floor general can do.

after last night Bucks win and Knicks loss the Cavs are 1/2 game out of the 8th seed
