Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

[Man Called X]

Not only did I not start McFadden, I got two points out of Ridley at RB and one effing point out of Mike Wallace at the flex. SHIT I also had Shane Vareen on my bench, he got 15 points. Left 26 pts on the bench.

But I'm up sixteen and the only remaining players are Arian Foster (for me) vs. Hakeem Nicks and Pierre Garcon. idk who they are but one of them is French so he can't get any points so I'm confident.

First every fantasy game for me, it's a friggin blast, most of our league just spent the day at the bar. I can see why this is so fun...especially watching the girl with Peyton Manning slowly watch her lead crumble away.

Pierre Garcon singlehandledly got me through the playoffs last year with 3 straight big weeks after he returned from injury.

2 - 0 this week, hell yeah. The team I drafted for my sister (she couldn't make it to the draft) just put down the team of the guy who played Peyton Manning.

Well you guys were right, Wayne outperformed McFadden. But DMC didn't let me down like I was expecting him too. Surprisingly enough, CJ Spiller was my big letdown this week. Seemed like a lot of RB's were off today.

Even if the Raiders somehow manage to have a decent passing attack with Pryor as the QB, I'll still be surprised if McFadden does anything.

Talented, yes, but very injury prone and the Raiders don't have much else on offense.

Down 12 coming into this game and then Cruz and Witten happened so I went from losing to 2nd highest point output in the league so far this week.

Guy in my league dropped Lamar Miller after he struggled against the Browns today. I need RB depth so I quickly scooped him up. I lost by 80+ points today. Nearly every player the guy had on his team had a good game. MJD, White, Bryant, and Bowe all shit the bed for me. Single digits for all of them. Some under five points.

Hoping to turn this around next week. My first crack at fantasy football is not looking so good.

Only 15 Rbs managed 10 points, and most of them were receiving threats. 25 WRs hit 10. The Rbs are going to produce as the season goes along. Roddy White seems hurt pretty bad. I would consider benching him for now. The Falcons have other targets. Dwayne Bowe has burned me a couple of different seasons. Just completely inconsistent. MJD is a Jaguar. I'd really just put a claim on anyone that had a solid week. You can definitely recover from a bad draft or key injuries by staying on top of the waiver wire.

Down 8.2 in a standard scoring league and I've got Andre Johnson and he has nobody else left. I can win this...right?

In my other standard scoring league, I'm up 58.06 pts and he's got Andre Johnson, Desean Jackson, Alfred Morris and Owen Daniels left. He'd have to average 14 pts per guy, which would be pretty shocking. But when you've got a top RB and a top WR, you could get 20+ from both easily.

In that first league, I put up 109pts which is very strong for that league. Marshawn and Janikowski were the only ones who underperformed. What happened with Marshawn yesterday???

Panther D played really well most of the game, pretty good job of containing Russ as well.
The whole West coast team playing an early game on the East coast might have contributed a little..
