Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I'm in the same boat, Jack. My WRs went from:

Calvin
Roddy White
Amendola

to

Calvin
Stevie Johnson
Marlon Brown/DeAndre Hopkins/Gimpy Roddy White

With that said, who do you all think my WR3 should be?

Stevie Johnson as a number two receiver isn't the end of the world. He was a beast this week and was pretty good in week one too. He's Buffalo's number one option in the pass game and thus far Manuel has seemed to be a legit NFL QB (hey, another one we passed over! Go Browns!). You could do a whole hell of a lot worse than that, especially since you've still got Megatron as your number one.

I'd probably go Hopkins. Keep riding the hot streak until it ends.

Although my team in that league is 0-2, I've gotten incredibly lucky with my waiver pick-ups, so either no one else in the league is paying any attention to waivers or they all think their teams are fine. I got Julius Thomas and Eddie Royal in back-to-back weeks, which is a pretty good haul, especially if Royal keeps producing at even a chunk of what he has the first two weeks. It's also a flex league, so I can run Thomas and Gronk as dual tight ends and rack up their double-digit performances every week. It will also help if Amendola can string together more than a week without getting hurt, but that probably won't happen.

I have 4 good receivers... Dez Bryant, Wes Welker, Hakeem Nicks, and Eric Decker, but have absolutely no TE (Fred Davis) and there's nothing (NOTHING) on waivers.

I got offered either Jason Witten for Hakeem Nicks or Martellus Bennett for Eric Decker. I trust Witten more than Bennett, and Nicks can be injury prone, so my initial reaction is to trade Nicks for Witten... but if I was going for highest ceiling, Bennett has been a monster so far this year, Nicks has been steady and Decker has been inconsistent and fighting for looks with the rest of Denver's receivers.

Thoughts?

Either way, it looks like a win considering you would no longer have to start Fred Davis and are deep at WR. I agree with you in that Witten for Nicks may be the safer route, but if I'm you I'd rather keep Nicks than Decker (especially with also having Welker) and trade for Bennett.

Just swung a deal, and need opinions on it.

I send:

Matt Forte
Owen Daniels
Brandon Weeden

For:
Trent Richardson
Percy Harvin (week 6 return)
Jordan Cameron

Overall I think I got a steal. I don't understand people bailing on Trent after 2 weeks. He faced some tough run defenses. I think he'll still rush for about 1,000 and around 8 TD's, and I really like the fact that I grabbed up Harvin. Also think Cameron is an upgrade at TE for me. Thoughts?

With Andre Johnson likely out this week, or limited, I'd rock Hopkins. He was a monster last week and also looked good in week 1. Kid can flat out play.

Was just offered this trade, non PPR league with Flex position, standard scoring:

I receive Rashard Mendenhall & Brandon Jacobs
I give up BenJarvis Green Ellis & DeAndre Hopkins

My RB's pre trade: Trent Richardson, Daryl Richardson, BJGE (lost Andre Brown to injury)
My WR's pre trade: Randall Cobb, Andre Johnson, Antonio Brown, DeAndre Hopkins, Brian Hartline, Kenbrell Thompkins

Obviously I'm a little thin at RB and have two studs at WR with some decent depth. Leaning toward accepting it due to my RB situation, DeAndre Hopkins is red hot right now, but figure it might be best to sell high. Thoughts?
You got depth at wide receiver to use to grab a back, but I don't like this deal.

Brandon Jacobs isn't going to get you many fantasy points. The Giants are sooner or later going to give the nod to David Wilson to carry the football 20 or so times a game. Jacobs is just there to fill in when needed or take over if Wilson continues to struggle holding onto the football.

Hopkins is also a beast. He's the No.2 receiver behind Johnson and I believe he'll get a lot of looks considering the double teams Johnson will be facing.

You're getting two Browns players who have combined for just 1 touchdown in two games.

With the struggling offense here in Cleveland, I don't think you make that deal. Owen Daniels is a favorite target in Houston, especially in the redzone. While Cameron is a boss and Richardson has the explosiveness to go off, I don't think you do it. Its not a bad deal, but with the way we've seen the Browns offense and their offensive line.. Its shaky at best.

I just acquired Chris Johnson and Antonio Brown in exchange for David Wilson and Vincent Jackson. Needed a back pretty badly with Wilson killing me, and I don't have the time to wait for him to get his shit together.

I also am tossing the idea of starting Gordon this week, but I have Steve Smith on the bench waiting to start at my flex, so I'll likely roll with him.

Thinking about picking up McGahee, but I'll have to drop someone, opinion? 12-team ESPN Standard

QB Colin Kaepernick, SF QB
RB Trent Richardson, Ind RB
RB Reggie Bush, Det RB Q
WR Victor Cruz, NYG WR
WR Julian Edelman, NE WR
TE Jordan Cameron, Cle TE
FLEX Chris Johnson, Ten RB
D/ST Browns D/ST D/ST
K Greg Zuerlein, StL K

Bench Eric Decker, Den WR
Bench Cecil Shorts, Jac WR
Bench Josh Gordon, Cle WR
Bench Daryl Richardson, StL RB Q
Bench Chris Givens, StL WR
Bench Eddie Royal, SD WR P
Bench Philip Rivers, SD QB

Well first of all Eddie Royal has to start until he stops scoring 5 touchdowns a game. But with Hoyer starting, and T-Rich leaving, I'd probably drop Gordon out of that group. Browns will be lucky to score a touchdown a game.

I wouldn't bank on Royal replicating his past performances. He's been targeted 14 times and has 10 receptions. Those numbers just aren't sustainable. Defenses will zero in on him and it doesn't help that Floyd is going to be out. He usually draws a lot of attention on D because of his size and chemistry with Rivers.

Risk it if you want to, but don't come crying to me when Royal puts up a stinker!

Team is pretty stacked.. Honestly, if you really wanted to make that move I'd drop Rivers, unless you're not sold on Colin.

That or you can replace a starting back with another starting back by dropping Daryl Richardson.

I just claimed Royal off of waivers, so he was auto-benched. I am going to start him. It was him or Edelman, and Royal has an easier matchup. Although I've failed to fill my #2 receiver spot with anyone that managed 10 points yet. I ended up dropping Givens to pick up McGahee. I didn't want to but I really need the RB depth. Still have 4 WRs that can start in a pinch. Also dropped the Browns defense and picked up the Vikings... :hide:

Yeah, Kaep has a wk9 bye and another game against the Seahawks, and then there the whole running Qb thing. I don't like carrying 2 Qb's, but Rivers upside makes him the only relevant guy that was a FA.

Would have dropped Shorts instead of Givens but at least he got henne throwing the ball to him this week. See how that goes.

Shorts has better matchups at the end of the year. Givens has 4 or 5 weeks where has just going to be blanketed.

I picked up obi last night off waivers, should i pick up mcgahee insead? who do you think starts at rb? it's gotta be obi right?

I think either one is going to be terrible. Would definitely avoid.

Eh...someone is going to be picking up rushing yards for this team. It's just a matter of gambling on the right guy. And presumably it's a bench guy anyway, so it's not a huge risk depending on who you'd be dropping. I rolled the dice on McGahee in my twelve-man league. I didn't drop anyone worthwhile to pick him up, so even if he doesn't end up starting it's worth the chance that he does.

And if we do pick up McGahee and he's healthy, I think he'll be the starter within two or three weeks.
