Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
If you are ever going to start Kaepernick over Ryan, this is the week. That said, know you are benching the guy who is a plug and play starter for the boom or bust player. You can invest in a T Bill or invest in a risky startup tech company. It depends upon your style...

Here's the thing though, my line up looks like shit this week. Spiller is doubtful and Trent is on a bye (both suck anyways tbh)

QB: Ryan or Kaep
RB: Daniel Thomas (yeah, I know) --- maybe McGahee? (pending waivers)
RB: Darren Sproles
WR: Calvin Johnson
WR: Desean Jackson
TE: Cameron
Flex: Hakeem Nix

DEF: Oak

The guy I'm playing already has a solid 35 after that 27 point outburst from Cam Newton last night.

I'm thinking I should take a risk and play the player I think has a chance to get the most points? Ahhh I'm so torn this week.

If you lose, you lose. Know that Ryan has been steady from week to week, Kaepernick is a lottery ticket. Its your team.

I agree with Keys on this one..

Kaepernick would get the nod this week considering the matchup, and he's sorta looked more comfortable out there and he's using his legs to create more fantasy points.

Personally, I go with Kaepernick and bench Ryan, who's best receiver(Douglas?) will be covered by Patrick Peterson - who has been a fantasy owners nightmare for wide receiver matchups.

Was offered Colston for MJD. I haven't started MoJo since week two so I'm really considering this. Colston has had a few bad weeks, but I think he'll produce more in that high powered offense than MJD will in Jacksonville. I have solid WR depth with Dez, Blackmon, Roddy, Moore, Hartline, and Douglas. I really don't need Colston... I'd just like to get a receiver in that offense.

At RB I have AP, Gio Benard, Zach Stacy, Andre Ellington, and Joique Bell. All of which I trust more than MJD.

Should I accept before he cancels? Trade has been pending for a few days now.

I'm 2-5 btw. It might be time to start taking some chances.

That is taking a chance, I'd do it though. Your RB depth should get you through by playing the guy with the worst opposing run defense. Of course every year I think I have running back depth, then one guy gets injured and another guy gets demoted to a time share... running backs are annoying.

Standard League.

My MJD, Heyward-Bay, and KC DEF for his Ridley, Nicks, and CIN DEF.

KC has a Bye on Week 10, Den week 11, SD week 12, Den week 13, Was week 14, and Indy week 16. I don't think I'd start them in most of those matchups.

NE also has an easy schedule for RB's remaining (Jax has an average one). Likewise, NYG have an easy schedule for WR's (and Indy has one of the hardest). My concern is if/when Vereen returns, does he steal most of Ridley's points.

Thoughts?

Playing against Calvin in my money league and I benched Josh Gordon.

It looks like you are trading the best defense and two useful contributors for two contributors and a crappy defense. I think the other guy gets the best of the deal.

Haha Johnson had 57 points for me in my PPR league. Ridiculous. He single-handedly won that game for me since Gronk and Amendola both shit the bed today (along with the entire Patriots offense). Although Matt Ryan's horrific performance today is certainly helping. :chuckles:

God dammit shouldn't have given away McFadden

Hope to eke out a win this week against the #1 guy in the league...damn I've been top two in pts the last three weeks but might lose two games :(

He'll get hurt again.. He always does.

Jason Witten and Gonzo are seriously having their worst year ever for fantasy points. Its awful..

Ugh talk about by the skin on my teeth, 124-122. Was tied when I went to bed last night, thankfully the Seahawks D dido do anything too awesome.

Except now I go into week nine without Stafford and Akers, Foster is Q (but should be good to go) and AJ Green with a tough matchup.

Jordan reed vs Antonio Gates is a tough decision, will probably ride the hot hand with Reed.

Put in waiver orders for Alex Smith, then Campbell (lol). I bet I get stuck with Campbell.

My work league is somehow 6-2 despite being remarkably terrible. I've trotted out Tom Brady week after week and still managed to string together wins. This week was notable because Tom Brady was once again terrible, but I started Marvin Jones as one of my receivers (it's a 3-WR, 2-RB, 0-flex league) because Brandon Marshall was on bye week and Percy Harvin (who I picked up last week) is still out. My other two receivers were Colston (terrible every week) and Decker (terrible this week), who combined for six points.

Somehow, Jones puts up 36 points and combines with my two running backs and my kicker (Dan Bailey for 17!) to squeeze out a win after Sidney Rice destroyed his knee and failed to score a single point in the Monday night game. Just for reference, the rest of my team (two receivers, a quarterback, and my defense) combined for 21 points.

Fun week.

I'm also making a comeback in my formerly 0-4 league. I'm 3-5 now, baby!

Trying to figure out my last two starters.PPR League, Have to pick 2 out of Stevie Johnson,Mike Wallace,Kendall Wright and Darrius Heyward-Bey. Leaning towards going with Kendall and Mike Wallace. Stevie still a little banged up and not sure what will happen with Heyward-Bey with Reggie out. What do you guys think??

hey guys russel wilson vs TB or Andy Dalton vs Miami. Just picked up Dalton and he's been red hot lately. should I stick with Wilson?
