Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Yeah, I should have played Vincent Jackson. Still won. Was going against Aaron Rodgers so I wanted to negate any points he got since I had Cobb too. :chuckle:

2-0 in both my leagues, both money leagues.

But I'm starting to encounter adversity in the one. Drew Brees is my QB, and it's not looking good. Also own Lamar Miller in both and he is underperforming like crazy. Getting worried.

Picked up Derek Carr to back up Drew Brees, but I really hope the latter is going to be okay. His receivers look bad and his injury seems like it might keep him out or at least hinder him.
 
Boldin or Roddy White? Someone dropped White and was wondering if I should switch them out? Can't really drop anyone else on my bench.

Possibly Agholor but I am not giving up on him yet. Phili will work their kinks out to get some deep balls to him.
 
Sam Bradford or tyron Taylor Brees is my starter but he may be out for a while. Leaning towards Taylor.

I was offered Latavius Murray for Mike Evans straight up. Non ppr. My receivers are Demarius Thomas, Deandre Hopkins and Jarvis Landry. My backs are CJ Anderson, AP, Lamar Miller, and Justin forsett, and Foster as well. According to Dave Richards trade chart Evans is valued at 13 while Murray is value at 19. Seems like a good trade even with my rb depth. Perhaps I can use one of my running backs as bait for another receiver. Thoughts?
 
How many WR do you start? Landry takes a major hit in nonPPR leagues
 
I'm not doing it with your stable of backs. Unless you plan on packaging those backs for an upgrade elsewhere, there's really no point in having them all sit on your bench.

yeah, i've sent out some fliers for trades and see what i come back with. i sent out 5 different trade proposals so we'll see what happens murray does have a nice matchup against clevelands run defense thoguh
 
I think I need to consolidate my talents after this week

People are starting to hurt for RB's which I loaded up on in the draft and luckily none have had serious injuries, unlike my WR's

I have made a few very good choices so far, such as drafting Reed in the late late rounds (could have maybe picked him up off WW, I guess people are understandably scared of his injury history), picking up Dion Lewis and Rishard Matthews

League 1
Forte/McCoy/Foster/Dion Lewis/Duke Johnson
QB: Ryan/Foles (picked Foles up for this week; Ryan has been a bit underwhelming, and QB's have a field day vs Pitt)
WR: J Matthews/Marshall/T Smith/M Jones/B Quick
TE: Reed/Cameron

League 2
Lev Bell/Ingram/Woodhead/J Bell/Martin
QB: Bradford/Foles (ditto but x10, man Philly is a mess)
WR: Hilton/DeSean J/Stevie J/Decker/T Smith/Rishard Matthews
TE: Reed (yikes!)

I am completely new to trading though so idk what good value is

Is Philly going to get it together? Should I stick with Bradford?

Is it stupid to see if I can trade a lower end RB2 + WR2 for a WR1?

Probably not. Unless they are just REAL desperate.

I am in the same boat, kind of.

When all my RB's get healthy, I have Miller, Lacy, Matt Jones & Foster. Will easily have to unload one of them.

I am hoping Miller plays this week and has a good week. Foster comes back next week. Then I can trade Miller or Jones for a WR2/1.5

There is a trade chart on cbsspots.com that shows the value of the player. this helps with trades if youre not sure how high a value your player has. here is the link for you.

Any CJ Anderson owners freaking out?

Just bought low on him for Gio Bernard. High upside play for me and Gio was my 5th RB.

He played 2 pretty tough defenses weeks 1 and 2
 
In jest I mentioned my situation to my bud who went WR/WR 1/2 in the draft

He is willing to do Demaryius for Foster/Dion Lewis which I don't think is good value.

I'd try to rid myself of McCoy way before I try to get rid of Foster.
 
Oh I agree, he didn't want anything to do with that though...he was pretty dead set on Foster (he was mad I drafted him before he could)

Someone else might bite though
