Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
hey jack i'm assuming that you're leveon a prayer in the alterate fantasy league right? i'm greatest show on paper. i'd be willing to offer you tom brady for foster or tom brady and somebody like donte moncrief for bell. take a look at my rsoter and let me know if you're interested. I have carson palmer as well.

Dude, you are overvaluing the worth of a QB in a 10 team league way too much, especially in a league with weird scoring and no -2 for INTs...this one and your offer to me are pretty crazy

I'm good rolling with Tyrod Taylor until Ben gets back.

okay thanks, i sent you a trade offer but feel free to reject it, my first 2 picks, charles and dez are both out with injuries. i hope my waiver for either west or davis gets accepted, who should i target as priorty as far as the chiefs rbs? west or davis? i'm thinking west. he hsa been the backup to charels and davis hasn't seen a carry overthe last couple weeks. should i target both of them?

yeah perhaps, i'm just going by trade value posted on cbssports.com

Are you using the PPR values rather than the standard ones? Because we're in a PPR league. The extra point per reception makes both Bell and Foster significantly more valuable.

Yeah, in no league type is Tom Brady worth Foster, or Tom Brady with Moncrief worth Bell, crazy that that is even being thought up by people...and we're in a PPR league where those 2 are the best PPR every down backs in the league now that Charles is out for the year.

QBs in 1 QB leagues and less than a 12 person league aren't worth much in the trade market. If you want replacements for Charles and Dez, you're going to have to part with some skill guys.

And use common sense that you've gained from playing over the years, not cbssports.com...for instance, your offer to me of Carson Palmer in exchange for Amari Cooper (I'm guessing you saw this on cbssports as well)...it made no sense to even offer me that...I have Russell Wilson, what do I need Palmer for?

You gotta base your trade value off way more than CBS rankings.

schedule, injuries, cornerbacks, other persons team/needs, waiver wire.

yeah i guess i just overvalued my qbs way too much. I've never really made any trades in leagues before. I was just going by this link below where i got my trade ideas from. so realistically, what could I get for Brady?

In a 10 team league with 1 QB and no INT negatives? Maybe a low 1, high 2 WR or RB...maybe...QBs really have no trade value in our league.

And don't listen to week to week trade values man...

okay thanks for the tips. i've never played in a ppr league before. when i propose trade offers i neve know if it's a fair deal or not. so that's why i was using those trade values. I just hope I get one of my claims in for kansas city running bakc or i'm in trouble.

This is the 1st thing you should do if I were you, looking at your roster...now that Brady is past his bye, I'd drop Palmer...he is worthless to you and near worthless in a trade...not with the amount of QBs on the waiver wire and how little QBs are valued in a PPR league. Drop him and go grab a WR like Boldin, Snead, Kearse, or whatever your preference is on Cincy's #2 WR...Palmer is a huge waste of a roster spot, as is any bench QB in a 1 QB, PPR league.

Next, you are waiver #6...good chance you miss on West, and maybe even Davis...so lineup other waiver claims on backs who get a lot of targets and receptions as fall backs, and have those moves right behind your claims for West and Davis...Reese, Sims, McFadden, Thompson from Washington, and with Charles now out, De'Anthony Thomas all have value in PPR leagues and in some cases are 1 injury away from having a much bigger role (just look what the Dunbar injury did for McFadden's value in PPR leagues). If you need to make moves on the waiver wire in order to add to the quality of your team, always line up 2-3 fallback options for your biggest needs.

If I were you, my pending moves would look like this this week:

1. Charles for West
2. Charles for McFadden
3. Charles for Sims
4. Charles for Davis
5. Palmer for Snead
6. Palmer for Boldin
7. Palmer for Kearse
8. T. Williams for Barnidge
9. T. Williams for Donnell
10. T. Williams for Tamme (up 1 spot if Julio is out this week)
