Post Draft advice-Fantasy Football

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
And I gotta say...that league is a pure example of being an active GM. I drafted:

Antonio Brown
Jeremy Hill
Frank Gore
Alfred Morris
Brandin Cooks
Tony Romo
Allen Robinson
Eric Decker
Charles Johnson
Matt Stafford
Delanie Walker
Kendall Wright
Duke Johnson
Baltimore
Gould

And only Antonio, Hill, Gore, Robinson and Delanie are still on my team.

And I rarely play Gore or Hill, though last week I went with Hill over Hightower and it worked out. Delanie I replaced with Barnidge, but kept him on the bench.

I may go with Delanie over Barnidge this week.

Is it a keeper league? I see a very bright future next year of Gary/Goff/Gordon to lay the groundwork for a 6th place finish

pick 3 of 4, this is for my super bowl
.5 points PPR

Fitzgarald
Julio Jones
Golden Tate
John Brown

Issue is Atl plays Carolina, but Julio is an every week starter, Fitz has under performed the last 5 weeks, and Tate has really come on.

So to me i am think of leaving Fitz on the bench, but not sure if right move.

Depends on your opponent. Do you need high floors or high ceilings? Fitz for floor, Brown for ceiling.

he has only two healthy recievers, Alshon and OBJ. Alshon might not play, he also has edelman, but he is done too. His rb's are hightower and cristina michael

Now on rb's i have issues too. I have Devonta, who has a terrible matchup, and then have lost 3 rb's in a row. So i am left with James White, hope Yeldon, Matt Jones or Draugn get healthy or think Bolden will actually do something.

Then tight ends, he has Olsen, i have Watson or Gates. Also, my qb is either Palmer or Brees, both have injuries now, so that is a mess.

Fantasy football isnt about being the best, its about surviving sometimes, which until last 2 weeks i was doing pretty well.

No.

But I did finish 6th and have dominated throughout the final week of reg season and first two rounds of playoffs.

Averaged about 91 points per week in reg season and barely snuck in.

Over the last three weeks I'm averaging 138.

So in the league I run I'm thinking about making some changes. These would potentially include the following:

Hybrid scoring - H2H Win/Loss + Top 6 scoring teams get a point. This means each week you could go 2-0, 1-1 or 0-2.

4 playoff teams - 2 week playoffs per matchup (weeks 13+14 & weeks 15+16)

Consolation bracket winner also gets entry fee back

Last place is guaranteed the last choice of draft slot in the following years draft even if they win the lottery/contest.

If you veto a trade, you must do so publicly with a counter offer to either manager. The caveat is, if that owner chooses your offer instead that trade is processed immediately.

**Also may do a weekly prize for top score. I'd kick up the league entry to not take away from the prize**

I think we are changing next year to winner of consolation bracket gets their pick at where they want to draft, then it just goes in reverse order, like usual.

It is also a keeper league and we can also trade draft picks. So it will make it interesting because you can either go:

Route 1: Trade away players and stockpile draft picks and just finish last

Route 2: Try and win the consolation bracket so you can get your #1, #5, #12 pick, etc...

Will throw a wrinkle into the strategy of players near the end of the season and also keep them interested.

I'd say you have to go Freeman and White plus Gates.

Better rule is to outlaw veto votes of any kind for any trade. Let the commissioner figure out if there is any cheating going on. Otherwise, it's just a lot of butthurt owners that don't want another team to get better.

Here's a fun addition to a league. Do a league pick'em for each week's games in your league.

I currently have it set up as Commish approval only, which means if that team wants a player who am I to say no?

I only had one guy say something because he couldn't veto (the other 10 people besides myself didn't say anything). It's just something I thought would add a little more intrigue to the league.

Pick 2 PPR:

D. Hopkins @Ten
T. Ginn @Atlanta
A. Cooper v SD
D. Parker v Ind
J. Matthews v Was
K. Aiken v Pit

Pick 2 Standard:

J. White @NYJ
T. Hightower v Jax
B. Powell v NE
A. Blue @Ten

Pick 1 Standard:

Wheaton @Bal
Lockett v StL

Leaning Lockett because my opponent has Russell Wilson.

That is what i am going for RB and TE, my 2 wr and flex is what is getting me confused. Who do i bench with Julio, Fitz, John Brown and Golden Tate?

That plus Lockett is better. If it's not Baldwin, it's Lockett lately.

I'd go Lockett, though he's firmly planted on my bench behind Baldwin, Antonio Brown and Allen Robinson. If two of those guys went down, I'd start him and feel good about it.

Pick 2
Karlos Williams, Tim Hightower, C. Artis-Payne standard league
Tim Hightower, Denard Robinson, Lamar Miller, CJ Andersen, PPR

I've made it to the championship in both of my leagues and want some advice. Surprised that I'm in the championship considering that I've been decimated by the running back position in both leagues.
