Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy - 5.5/10

This movie can best be summarized by the following 3 words - WTF!!! This movie is neither interesting nor is it a boring drap ... it meanders its way in between. I heard a lot about the book and judging by how subpar the movie is I can only assume that the movie-makers presented in a rather drab manner or totally missed the point that made the book famous. I would not recommend this movie.

@brownindian thank you for letting me know inadvertently Locke was finally available for download.. Been waiting for it for awhile. It was awesome.

Iceman was awesome. Love Michael Shannon.. I remember renting this movie a while back but I guess I never watched it.

I feel the exact same way about Hitchhiker's guide.

We hae the same taste. Please keep going with more recommendations

The Foxcatcher just became my favorite movie of the year. I loved this movie and while people will talk about Steve Carrel's performance, I think Ruffalo and Tatum outshined him.

This weekend's Netflix consisted of Ron White's A Little Unprofessional (not my movie pick), but still enjoyable. 7.5/10

Beverly Hills Cop (also not my choice, because I've never seen it) 8/10-- Eddie Murphy in his prime was just fun to watch.

Pain and Gain was my pick and what do you know, I fell fast asleep within the first 30mins.

Watched Snowpiercer. Had really no idea what it was going in.

6.5/10, it was above average with some really cool ideas and I liked Chris Evans a lot. Ending sucked donkey balls (not the twist, just the actual ending). There is one scene that is probably worth watching this movie for alone, if you've seen it you probably know what I'm talking about. It had that quirky Asian direction at a lot of parts but then at other parts it'd feel like a Western film. Overall it was pretty cool, I liked it, worth a watch if the premise sounds interesting.

Gone Girl 8/10. Enjoyed it a lot more and dug the twist. Plus filmed on location where I went to school about 90 minutes away.

How To Train Your Dragon 2 7/10. Sometimes I like kid movies and I don't have kids.

The Guest 7/10. Bored, found it some how. Watched because had nothing better to do, decent flick.

The Interview - 5/10

This is not as bad as the critics portray it nor is it an awesomely funny movie. This movie is very similar to Seth Rogen's earlier flick The Neighbors. The movie's pace is slow, the dialogues however are funny and the plot is decent. It is not theater worthy if that is what you really want to know.

That's a big low. I was thinking more along the lines of 6.9/10
The movie is painfully slow but the ending made up for it.
Plus it did have a couple laugh out loud moments.

7 might be too high a rating for me IMO.

Snatch was better than Lock, Stock, but both were enjoyable. I started playing Lock, Stock last Saturday, but the British accent was too much for my company. It was late, so I get it, because that's a movie that you have to pay attention to.

I'll end up watching it tomorrow afternoon.
