Ray Farmer Suspended 4 Games for Text-Gate

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
This is truly heartbreaking.
No clue why I care so much when I try so hard not to.

I've never heard of this rule. So is it only management that can't use phones from the pressboxes? If coordinators aren't allowed to use a phone, how do they call plays from there. Just wondering, I've never heard about this.

There is a league approved headset. I believe only a certain amount of people are allowed to use it during a game as well.

According to STO at 3:30 today, Jordan Cameron is not interested in resigning with the Browns.

I am not surprised.

The off season is off to a very Browns like start.

To be completely honest on Jordan Cameron, Fuck em. But that's just me.

Browns are in a Shit hole and I feel bad for the good vets we have. But theyre still millionaire's.

Who can blame him...

which was?

Although the hiring season has ended for coaches, General Managers sometimes are changed after the draft. In Cleveland, where G.M. Ray Farmer failed to protect owner Jimmy Haslam from himself on Johnny Manziel, Haslam could be inclined to move on from Farmer and to lure Dimitroff to town.

Sounds like baseless Florio speculation but it's out there

Who can blame him...

He certainly didn't produce enough for the value of money he's going to ask for, add that on top of him having serious concussion problems and very prone to them, best that we do probably move on anyways.

Good talent nonetheless but fans get screwed in the end.

I believe La Canfora had that Cameron isn't interested in re-signing in his article earlier today..

Been rooting against this team for several years now. Have to get creative to find a way to get any kind of entertainment out of them.

They are the single worst franchise in sports, have been for years, and it isn't even close.

Anytime I see a dysfunctional team in another sport, I just say they're the Cleveland Browns of their sport.

The Knicks give us a good run for the money, of the two most dysfunctional franchises in the last 15 years. To their credit, at least they've made some noise.

We've been consistently horrible year in and year out.

On the sideline you have the same vantage point as the coach, there is nothing you could see that they couldn't. If you're texting people who are on the sideline from an undisclosed location during the game, then there is the potential for something to gain an advantage.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

And one has to wonder, why is he doing this exactly? Is something else going on?

You can't do this! Even if nothing else is going on, I find it absurd that the GM would do this frankly.

If we're guilty of this, I think we're going to lose a draft pick.

Starts at the top.

This team will never be good so long as Haslam owns it. The same was (correctly) said about Lerner. And for opposite reasons for each of them, which is what makes it so entertaining.

What's the average ownership tenure in football? Has to be around a decade. The Browns will be what they are at least until my newborn son is a teenager. That's why I've had him in Steelers clothes from the day he was born.

I don't think that anyone should have loyalty to the organization. I just think there is a right way and wrong way to act as a professional. Being an anonymous source in hit pieces and bringing about a league investigation is poor form.

I'm with Pettine on this and am glad we got this asshole out of here.

Why act like a professional when your former employer refused to treat you like a professional?

I mean, some people are acting like coaches just QUIT their jobs and forego guaranteed millions all the time. That's INSANITY especially in a sport with so much instability. That tells you everything you need to know about this organization.

Pettine didn't want to get rid of Shanahan so I'm not really sure what you're talking about. I don't know how one could surmise that from the information we have unless you're burying your head in the snow on purpose.
