Waiting for trades to go through is lame. Almost as lame as league votes to approve trades.
 
This is a good time for me to remind everyone that now you can trade future draft pick swaps. So, if you are a team that doesn't see itself as a contender this year, I can't stop you from tanking... just go for those future high draft picks.

Channel your inner Ray Farmer when shipping off the last of your 2015 dignity and reload for a strong 2016 push, that's all I'm saying.

Also: Last place still means your franchise will be handed over to another interested party next season.

I may have read it wrong, but I believe any player that plays in Thursdays game stays on the team that currently has him. Every other player still gets traded.

I really have no idea b/c I have never traded with someone playing on a Thursday with our 3 month trade waiting period, but I guess we will find out tomorrow how it all goes down.

Matty Ice looked all defrosted in the loud Superdome. So I guess the trade gets all messed up if you start one of the traded players on a Thursday. I never knew that. If you guys are okay with it, I'll bump the wait time on trades to 24 hours. Let me know if you want me to keep it at 2 days.
 
I am good with 24 hours. And if you wait until the day before games, then it is your own fault and the same thing will happen that happened to me.

Once I read Mike Vick was starting for the Steelers, I officially didn't want him starting. Sure enough, the Steelers started looking like a viable offense once Vick got benched. More than anything, I'm excited for seeing my lineup next week.

As for now, it's a 3 point game with your last minute waiver wire fodder against my last minute waiver wire fodder. That's a fun matchup!
