Three quick reminders:

1. If a player was drafted in the 2015 draft, that is his "keeper" slot for the 2016 draft. Hurl PMed me to ask, so I want to get the ruling out now. This is a standard rule for keeper leagues.

2. If you have a losing record and are thinking about making a trade to a team in a playoff push, you have the ability to demand draft picks or draft pick swaps in 2016. As I see names like "Leveon Bell" bandied about, think ahead to next year. You are Browns fans, you understand the value of waiting for next year!

3. Remember in Week 6, when @Deezus gave @FiveThous a beatdown? That was awesome. Not only that, but it tied things up for bottom bitch of the league. Never forget the race to the bottom is just as thrilling and high stakes as the race to the top!

This may sound like the dumbest ass question ever, as I do not play Keeper leagues (you guys are all popping my keeper league cherry ) but I am assuming you have to KEEP the player on your team to be able to keep him? And if you trade him away/drop him and someone picks him up. Can you keep that player in the round he was drafted or a round higher? Or can't keep him at all since you didn't draft him.

Sorry if this is basic keeper league shit, but as I said, never did it before in my many years of playing.

We will continue to have free agent pickups (who weren't drafted) as round 14 value. So, let's say X wants to designate Alfred Blue as a Keeper next season. He picked him off waivers, but he was originally drafted in round 8. So, X can protect him at an 8th round value. This rule is in place to prevent injured players like Jamaal Charles from being round 14 values next year. On the other hand, Dante Moncrief somehow went undrafted in 2015. He would be a round 14 value as a Keeper.

So let's say that I've got 2 undrafted players I want as my keepers for next year, would that mean Rd 13/14 for them?

Exactly, one round higher if you have two from the same round. That is the most fair way I can find for everyone to have a great shot next year, regardless of this year.

Right... Or you inherited a team from last year that you were completely uninvolved with where you got to keep Labia fucking Bell for a 3rd rounder, and my team has been decimated by Dez's injury and Russell Wilson's inexplicable sucktitude.

If I finish last while someone who drafted Buffalo's D and a kicker back-to-back in the 9th and 10th rounds doesn't, then its a whole lot more about luck than anything else.
