If the traded players have already played in Week 10 and were in a starting lineup, then the trade will be processed for Week 11 instead. If you've set your lineup for future dates, those changes will be reset to match your lineup for the day players are added."

It's not on him. The only guy in the trade is Marshall. I'm sending him Marshall in the deal. But if he's not on @FiveThous roster by gametime tonight he can't play him. The trade will go through and both players will be on his bench, but since Marshall will have already played, he can't be put into his lineup.

So it sucks for FiveThous, but I guess I have to sit Marshall so the trade will go through, and he'll only get to use LaFell this weekend.

I already looked into this when a similar issue came up for SIX and Hurl. All I could do was shrink up the wait time for future trades. Sorry.
 
This is the reason I just switched to commish approval in the league I'm running. If two consenting, grown ass men consent to a trade then screw the other league members opinions.

This isn't bitching aimed at you @Randolphkeys just a general opinion on one of the things I'd like to see fantasy fix.

So as commisioner, you change the rules to fit your immediate needs? That's terrible.

Back when I was four years old, I learned to play the game within the rules. When those rules don't bend to your whims, you understand that is part of the game.

I shrunk the wait time on trades down as far as it could go midseason. That's as much as I could do.
 
No, I had it that way from the start, that's my fault for not clarifying. There have been around 5-10 trades in that league I approved to go through immediately and not one person had an issue with it.

And again I wasn't bitching at you, I understand the way the league is. I get it. Would I prefer to have both of them? Of course. I don't, so be it.

Yeah, the rules on trades are staying the way they are. I already met the frustrated faction halfway by cutting down wait time.

I've been in leagues with collusion. Two guys I knew in college colluded to buy weed with the earnings, ruined the season. In RCF leagues, we have had collusion. 24 hours is reasonable, and most importantly, the rules we started with. This trade shouldn't get special treatment because one party threw a fit.

It's not a huge deal to me, because it really only affects FiveThous' ability to use Marshall this week but if the review period is 24 hours and we agreed on the trade yesterday afternoon why does it take until Friday to go through?

More of a Yahoo! question I guess.
 
I don't know about anyone else, but it sure seems Surge is disrespecting Commish Keys. I would like to put up a vote to forfeit all of Surge's wins. #WeNeverSurge

I'm not sure who threw a fit, I thought Surge and I both asked a valid question and were simply confused by the Yahoo timeline. I guess our definitions of a fit are different.

For the third time now, my stance/question has no reflection on you as a commish. You seem to be taking this very personally and I'm sorry you feel that way.
 
Yahoo takes a day to process accepted trades that have gone through the 24 hour rejection window. Why? They are Yahoo and that's how they do it.

They also don't let you stream same day pickups into your lineup in fantasy hoops. I don't like it, but I've also never bothered ranting about how its a huge imposition. It's just how they do it. I just go about ass kickings whatever the rules might be.
 
Thought I'd jump in to say this has been the most active year for trades this league ever had. We had several seasons without a single trade. This year has been way more fun.

Does the deadline go through tonight? Or did it end once midnight last night hit?

If we have the rest of today, I'm still willing to deal. Always looking for upgrades, but especially at QB and maybe TE.

Willing to listen to offers for everyone.
