I fully admit my plan is to keep Julio Jones, but I also don't think we should change the rules for this coming draft regardless. My draft picks were all made last year under the impression that I could keep a first rounder. If we want to change that I think it should be in effect next year so everyone can draft accordingly this season.

If it gets turned down, I agree with whoever said it, it should not start this season, but in 2018. Does it have bearing on who people will keep this year? Maybe, maybe not. But changing a major rule within 2 weeks of the draft that wasn't agreed upon/voted on/understood on is asinine.


And in case you get in the league, asinine means dumb, sportscoach.


EDIT: and let me clarify before people bitch about me having Bell and wanting to keep it up this year: I have just as good as keeper in McCoy in the 2nd. So, it doesn't bother me if I get to keep Bell or not. I would still get a badass player in the 1st anyhow.

Every player you keep costs you a round higher than they were drafted. So if you keep a first rounder, what is the price? I'm ok with being able to keep a first rounder, but i feel you should have to give something up, even if its minor.

For example, I have Antonio Brown at a first round keeper if i want him. There's no cost to me keeping him other than giving up the first round pick?

I'm with Sixpack and Moz on this one... Its too late to change this rule this year. But I do agree that we need to probably alter things so that there is some other sort of penalty for keeping a 1st rounder going forward.
