I tried. I think we may have to restart in order to fix the minutes. I cant adjust the minutes now that we have started. I might make the level harder as well.

Has anyone played with the sliders since I adjusted them again?

For the most part, the sliders are good. There were too many fouls by guys I wasn't controlling though. The other team was in the bonus 3 minutes into every quarter. I finally got sick of it and shut down, haha.

Damn it, I had a feeling we were going to have to restart. Kind of frustrating because I put quite a bit of time into the game over the weekend. I think restarts/rules have killed our last 3 leagues so let's make sure we get everything defined and restart the league only one time. Here's my thoughts...

QUARTER LENGTH - I agree with KooKoo's suggestion to drop it down to 8 minutes. I'd prefer 10-11 to give realistic stats but 8 minutes would be easier to fit games into a tighter schedule.
DIFFICULTY - I think the most recent update Rch gave to sliders was good, and It seems like you don't have to do a restart to change this. I played a total of 4 games with the Hornets and went 3-1, losing my last game on harder sliders. My only complaint is that the computer scored like 90 points in the paint, but again I am the hornets so I'm not sure how much of that was just shitty players.
IN GAME RULES - I don't think we should any in-game rules, except don't play cheesy (stealing inbounds passes, full court lob passes, taking charges outside of the 3 point line). This is always going to be an issue but we should just worry about it if there are any extreme offenders.
TEAMS -Teams that missed the playoffs in 2012 but you can't be the nets and you can be the hawks/magic. Rch you should update your post on the main page to reflect all the teams that people said they were going to play as.
TRADES - Only rule on trades is you can't trade with a human team until that person actually joins the league and agrees. You also can't veto a trade unless you explain your logic for the veto on RCF. In our current league, I joined on the hornets and made a few minor trades with teams such as the Hawks and Rockets. I think it's important to define what teams are human-coached ASAP so that people can begin trading right of the bat. I like 2 pieces on the Hornets and want to trade a lot of the other scrubs for scrubs that fit my system and/or expiring contracts so I can start a Howard - Davis backcourt in 2014. I also don't think we should use the logic we used last year "They would never trade Durant for Melo or Gay for Ellis". Video games are based purely on the players ratings so a guy with an A potential and higher rating is always more valuable than a guy with lower potential, even if we know that to not be the case in reality.
Number of Games - We should cut this in half, 41. I'm assuming that the game clock will adjust accordingly so we don't have to wait 12 hrs/day * all the new schedule gaps which would make the game move too slow. All our teams are shitty, I think the fun is going to be signing free agents and drafting players. 82 games is a long time for bad teams and I think people will begin to lose interest. I think it makes sense to allow human v human games to played in any order.

Sorry for the long response, in summary lets clearly define the things that cannot change within a franchise (# of games, quarter length) and kick this thing off as soon as possible so people can mess with it during the week. Let's also make sure everyone knows who will be a user team so people can start trading and making teams fit their style immediately.
