RCF Fantasy Hoops Vets League 2011-12

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I see a deal with middle-of-the-roster players does not interest you.

So what you are saying is, you want Butler and Ibaka, and there is no wiggle room on who you are targeting. Am I correct here? When I know who else you might be interested in, I can draw up a counter offer.

Just sent you one!

Yeah... and it's not happening. We both know that the Clippers have played less games, therefore current rankings undervalue Clippers players. Every trade offer coming to me, except for the joke Max sent, has asked me for Butler. So who besides Butler interests you, or are you going to increase your offer?

What would it take for Butler? What would you give up for Terry?

You are avoiding my question: Who else besides Ibaka and Butler interest you from my roster?

I can tell you that I really like Butler on my team because he is the only guy I have right now scoring, getting to the line and converting besides Sessions and Durantula.

I've got scoring if you need it. I'd be interested in Blatche, he looks to have been a major disappointment for you.

*edit* I voted against the current trade. Feel like Jigo is asking for way too much for CP3. I mean, CP3 and 2 players that aren't even playing 25 minutes a game for 3 starters that play 30+ mins? Sorry, but you're trying to rob him. I hope others feel the same way.

While i appreciate the sentiment, i'm of the philosophy that if its obvious they are not colluding, you shouldn't vote against the trade. Also Jigo has one of the worst records and i have one of the best albeit early, so if jigo wins the trade it evens out the league if anything.

Rad is a throw in, although he is a pf on a team that just lost their pf and played 36 minutes yesterday. Frye's minutes are similarly way up, playing 30 tonight while starting. He got his shot back recently which has resulted in his numbers and minutes increasing, so looking at his averages for the season don't reflect his predicted future value. Chris paul is chris paul.

Paul is an upgrade to lawson (who could be playing over his head), rad is a downgrade from kris, martin and frye are pretty close in my book, i really like frye, and martin has more of an injury risk.

While i might be a rook in this league, i'm not a rook in fantasy so i ask you please, if you think i'm getting ripped off, know that its entirely my fault and i've deluded myself into doing so. I think i'm buying low on 2 guys on the upswing, maybe you think those guys are low for a reason, but i don't, so please allow me to do so.

Fuck man...the trade was actually his idea. I'm glad he's sticking up for his end. I ASKED for a hell of a lot more than I got, wanted Love. I'm taking one guy with a serious injury history (Martin), another guy that's just coming off being injured (Lawson) and Humphries is generally pretty healthy. He gets the best player out of the deal by a long-shot, particularly in a league like ours. Chris Paul spends a lot of every season at #1 and for good reason.

So to say I'm ASKING for way too much is way off base.

Why be a cock block? I've voted through multiple trades of yours that didn't look exactly perfect.

Oh well...I'll trust the league to make the right decision here. You've got both me and supergoat sitting here arguing for why our trade is fair. Not sure what more a league could ask for.

You know, I sat there looking at the trade. And I thought, Lawson/Humph for CP3/Frye is a good deal. It's the whole Kevin Martin and Vlad Rad that throws it all out of balance for me. He's giving up way too much scoring for roughly 2 assists a game? I mean, I know his point, and I know your point, and I'm confused how he thinks he wins in this deal. Vlad Rad is a CONSTANT tease that never does what he should. Martin is an injury risk that can still put up 25+ points on any given night.

Not being a cock block, but I'm giving my reasoning.

Martin played 80 games last year, and 46, 51,and 61 the year before that. I'm accepting the fact that he's going to get hurt to try to boost myself enough that I won't end up dead last. This trade will eventually turn into CP3, Frye for Hump, Lawson. If Vlad Rad drops off, he drops off. And like I said...I'm taking on two injury risks, whereas both my guys are generally healthy.

This trade probably makes me mediocre, whereas now I'm terrible.

He gets better in threes and three percentage by a long shot, not just assists. He's also improving in steals, a:to, and marginally better in blocks. I don't personally see how it's unfair. I think the guy also gets to enjoy that he has Chris effin Paul on his team. Part of the fun is having dudes you root for.

We'll leave it to the league.

Thank you for giving me your reasoning. I'm also someone that has ridden CP3 to a few close seasons as well. Once traded Kobe for CP3 that won me a league. But I just wanted to make my reasoning across.

To give you consideration on what I look at in trades, I just offered Kyp Batum and Chandler Parsons for Hibbert. And am willing to swap out those for wing scorers like DeRozan.

Maybe we could do something with a Joe Johnson/David Lee trade, Jigo?

Made you a 2/2 offer.

I answered you in the form of a trade offer.

Trade up to league now.

I feel it helps us out in different areas we both need.

Out of pure curiosity, if I offered up Durant and Lopez as a package deal... what kind of deal could you put together?

PM your best offer.

EDIT: Yes, both in a package, not separate deals. And yes, I'll take offers from anyone not named Jigo. Including another player from my roster could also be considered. And no, this doesn't mean I'm liquidating my roster or definitely going to trade to the highest bidder, so skip the low-ball offers.

Me, Jigo or the whole league in general?

And Lopez..?
