RCF Hoops Vets League '14-'15

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Hmm, was picking up Dante Exum worth it? I mean, Alec Burks did just go down for the season.. And they have so few SGs.... And seeing as I did draft the youngin, I guess it was in my best interests to snatch him up before anyone else could. Even if it pans out to nothing.
Might be. I think Rodney Hood's the play though. He's been getting the minutes every time Burks has been down this season.

I snapped him right up, and thank god I've got Trey already.

Yeah it's cool. I see Dante put up a big goose egg. I'll ride him the rest of the week and replace him for something else next week.

Who knows, my team already sucks, might as well tank it with Robin Lopez hiding until the late season push.

Leonard is on the block for someone who doesn't mind stashing him. I can't afford to keep doing it.

Tight battle this week, Jonzee. I am amazed I bested you. You were my pick to win it all this year.

I think this is the first week that I've lost and somehow jumped Kyp for first. So, thanks for not beating me worse, I guess?

I think you are still the team to beat in this league as long as you have a healthy Davis and Curry. A few minor changes to the bottom of your roster and the rest of us will be sucking wind. I like my team, but they needed some monster performances to edge you.

Bah, my team is coming back up after bottoming out for a couple weeks. K-Mart will be back in a couple weeks and then there won't be any stopping me.

ZAZA FOR THE WIN!

My climb from the sewers has begun, though a bit later than i had hoped. This is league is brutal when you are trying to win while carrying injured players. I paid a bit more than expected for that strategy.

I thought you were nuts for taking Durant high in the first round because of the way this league scores, but then I got autodrafted George Hill while at the dinner table with my father in law. Fucking crushing to my first half of the season.

Yeah I'm of the opinion that he is far and away the #1 player in this league when healthy so i viewed it as a necessary risk if i was going for a championship and not just a playoff appearance. It gave me a razor thin margin for error though, and when i encountered the normal rash of injuries it really tanked me.

To get to .500 I'll have to reverse my halfway record of 55-85 to 85-55, which is about what the top teams did in the first half so it's a tall task. That's winning 8.5 games per week.

Shumpert is on the block...

:chuckle:

Keys I know you're jealous...

I'm going to propose for next year that trades process after 48 hours. It seems like it takes forever for them to process as is.

That can be used to an advantage as well. Last year I traded for Brad Beal who was two weeks away from a return from injury, RonG was on the hook for most of the DNPs.

BTW Ron, still don't see the offer. PM me.

Agreed- the sooner you get those 3 useful guys off your roster, the better :chuckle:
