I just finished a simulated season on NBA 2K. I only did the first 8 rounds of draft picks, and a few picks got messed up, but the result from season 1 was Miami as the champions.
Eastern Conference
1- CHA: 53-29 (Highest point diff at +5.9)
2- DET: 49-33
3- MIA: 49-33 (Highest fg% at .482%)
4- BOS: 47-35
5- CHI: 42-40
6- IND: 40-42 (Highest APG= 25.4)
7- PHI: 39-43
8- CLE: 38-44
Western Conference
1- PHX: 52-30 (109.4 ppg = highest in the league)
2- DAL: 49-33
3- SAC: 48-34
4- MIN: 47-35
5- MEM: 46-36
6- NO: 45-37 (Highest 3PT%= .395)
7- UTA: 43-39
8- OKC: 42-40
Just missed: SA 41-41, LAL 41-41, POR 40-42
Extra notes: Russ= MVP, Nerlens Noel= DPOY, Buddy Hield= ROTY,
Surprise 2nd team All-NBA= Gordon Hayward, Highest OPPG at 108.1= Orlando, Highest RPG= Golden State, Surprise retirement after year 1= Kyle Korver.
*At the beginning of year 2: SA, CHA, SAC, and ORL are the top 4 rated teams overall.
Like I said, I only had the first 8 rounds. Kind of interesting that the team with the number 1 pick ended up winning year 1.
I also wanted to note that the idea of a more competitive balance in the league was absolutely realized. 15 teams had between 43 wins and 36 wins.
