By the way,the horse you get from bonnie early on in the game is a Kentucky Saddler,so if you already have the that (The golden pearl horse,white mane) and you're saving up to buy a nice one (they go for $750) just keep the one you have now bc its about as fast as you can get

yeah it's real nice after you buy the deed for a horse from the store because if it ever dies or gets killed, you just go into your bag and select the deed and press "use", and you have the same exact horse over again. That helped me because I always used to freak out if my horse got hurt because I didn't want to have to search for another one.

once you're an uhm..gringo there are horses you can catch with your lasso that are higher grade
Every golden pearl horse like that is a kentucky saddler,white horses are the Welsh,and the black are the american standardbred.
Those are the best horses in the game,with debate that the black(american standardbred) is the fastest of the 3.i didn't really see too much of a difference to be honest.

+ remember,setting up camp is the fastest way to move around the map(;

Just beat the game. Great game, not as good as grand theft auto 4 or san andreas but it was a different game (as in being a western).

Seems like this one was shorter than the grand theft auto games and i wish it was longer.

Spoiler: I loved shooting Ross in the head with the gun he gave me or (john marston) when you first get to Blackwater

Pretty much, however it's good to have any of the 3 mainly for bounty missions. Once you clear the area and hogtie the bounty target/put him on your horse, if you have any of those 3 horses you can ride to town at full speed and never have to shoot anyone again (they won't be able to catch up with you)

And also, how do i know what kind of horse i have?


Also, funniest thing ever the other day. I was riding in the train, i got up to the first car with the guy operating it. I called for my dumbass horse, and of course he came stomping around like a retard, well i started going pretty fast, and i kept calling him. And he followed. Somehow he made it up to in front of the train, and the train ran him over.
