Reddick charged with DWI

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
GUYS REMEMBER THAT guy lebron james??? ya the guy who is thriple teamed every time... lebron can create reddicks shots... and u say all reddick can do is score, well thats great cuz thats what we need... we can keep snow for the def part...

reddick is a college player, he isnt going to make it as an NBA player.

Reddick reminds me a lot of Luke Jackson.. Can shoot but can't create. Doesn't really work in the NBA.. What a moron though.

Reddick... would be perfect on the Phoenix Suns.

How? They are two completely different players. Luke was a very good creator for himself. He could get space between him and his defender, he can get to the lane and dunk on you. He can actually play pretty good defense as well.

He is nothing like JJ at all except he is white.

most duke players just never translate into good players in the NBA, there is only 1 Duke player to be on the winning side of a NBA Chamionship, and i believe its Danny Ferry.
Reddick was a great college player, ill give him that, but so was Christian Laehtner, and we all know how great his career was.

LEBRON WAS JUST A HIGH SCHOOL PLAYER RIGHT... HOW CAN U TELL WHO WILL BE GOOD AND WHO WILL BE A BUST???

um because he wasnt a man among boys, he is 6-4 guard. if you look at duke players track records...you will see that duke point guards never really make it. and why are you yelling?

come on man william avery was a stud :chuckles:

i dunno, duke has had some REALLY good players come out these past few years.
Shane Battier
Carlos Boozer
Chris Duhon
Mike Dunleavy
Jason Williams
Shavlik Randoph
William Avery
Trajen Langden
Corey Maggette

reddick will have the same fate.

Just because he comes from Duke means he wont win a championship? Thats one of the dumbest things Ive ever heard, what school you come from has NOTHING to do with an NBA Championship. Look at all the greats that have never made it.

Out of that list alone, look at all the good players. Maggette, Boozer, Duhon, Battier, Dunleavy, you forgot to list Elton Brand. There are probably plenty more but Im not gonna sit here and list them.

Sure, Langdon was a bust but there are players like him at every school. It has nothing to do with Duke.

Brand has been the exception out of duke players, for a school that does so well each and every year, the players usually never traslate into NBA calliber players, and it seems like this is usually the case with Duke PG's.
im not saying he wont get a ring, but he isnt going to be the same type of threat he was in college.

I was knd of pissed that the Cavs did'nt get Battier in the 2002 draft.. I thought he would be the start of turning our franchise around, but then came LeBron, and I don't care anymore.....

You act like people expect him to be. Nobody expects him to be anything but a Fred Hoiberg or a Damon Jones.

Duke wins because they have GREAT TEAMS. College basketball isnt meant to be a pipeline to the pros. Coach K could care less if he produces NBA all stars. He is there to win college games.

Exactly. I'm a Tarheel/OSU fan and I dislike Duke. But they rarely ever have like top of the line top 5 selections. Usually there are about 8 of them that are really good but not great and they dominate and go like 28-2.

Other schools have like 3 players that are great and turn into great nba stars. But basketball is a team game. Duke wins because they are always deep. Other schools may produce better players.

Redick isn't going to be a great player he's just not athletic enough. Hoiberg with better range sounds about right for him. JJ can stroke but he can't get his own shot in the NBA and will be more of a hang around the 3 point line and wait for the ball kinda guy.

A big liability on defense IMO as well.
