Report: Bucks to trade Joe Smith for Ruben Patterson

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Oh and Rimmage, don't go crying to the MOD's since you're actually "trolling" on my thread. :)

He shot 54% from the field last year for the Nuggets and 51.5% overall. He averaged 12ppg in 25mpg with that stellar field goal percentage. Let's see, that's better than:

Donyell Marshall:............ 9ppg
Damon Jones:................ 6.7ppg
Sasha Pavlovic:............. 4.5ppg
Andy Very Joe:.............. 4.6ppg
Eric Snow:.................... 4.8ppg
Ira Newble:................... 1.2ppg
Luke Jackson:............... 2.7ppg
Ronald Murry:............... 11ppg
Drew Gooden:............... 10.7ppg
Marty A.:..................... 0ppg

So it appears that Ruben Patterson was a more efficient scorer (aside from his defense) than 10 out of the 15 players on your roster last season INCLUDING 2 out of your STARTING FIVE. :chuckles:

I would have loved to add Larry Hughes to that list but that volumn chucker averaged 15ppg on an awful 40%fg. He only scored THREE more ppg than Ruben while playing 10 more mpg. Add to that, Hughes only had .4 more steals while playing 10 more minutes. :thumbdown

Ruben may be a bad free throw shooter at 60%, but I think that was Lebron's average as well in the 4th quarter of close games. At least my guy is a reserve. :chuckles:

Ruben enhances his efficiency by being one of the league's best offensive rebounders at his position on a per minute basis.

So...all those useless lames on our team and WE ARE STILL BETTER THAN YOUR BUCKS?

Thanks, come again.

Yep. You've got that part right and for the most part they are still there. On the other hand, the Bucks have gotten rid of their biggest problems and replaced them with solid players....Charlie Villanueva, Ruben Patterson, Steve Blake and MORE minutes for Charlie Bell and Dan Gadzuric.

Who's better now is yet to be determined. Refuse to change and you'll get left behind...words of wisdom for one Mr. Danny Ferry. I'll give him an A for effort with Jones, Hughes, and Marshall but those signings as a whole have to go down as an unmittigated failure.

You can have Jesus on your team, and we will still beat you. We got LeBron.

Heck, we can go 0-4 against you, but if we meet up in the post season, we will beat you.

Call it just a "hunch".

We'll see. We'll just see.

Oh, and I'd take Jesus over Lebron all day. Jesus, Wade, and Kobe.

We've given them a Cav killer to supplement Chris Bosh.
Is that the same guy who was 1-3 against the Cavs last season?

Dude, Drew freaking Gooden owns your team. How are you going to explain that?

I for one is glad that TJ is hanging in there. He is the only fan of an opposing team that posts here and it helps to have that instead of having a cheerleading fest 24/7 on here. It also helps that his team is a division "rival," if you can call the Bucks that.

OK TJ im serious about this bet. Lets say this...

*If the Cavs beat the Bucks in the season series, i get to think of a new phrase for under your username.

*If the Cavs have a better regular season record than the Bucks, i get to pick out a new sig for you.

*And if the Cavs do better than the Bucks in the playoffs, i get to pick a new avatar for you.

Of course itd be visa-versa if the Bucks won any of those categories. And the changes would take place after our teams are done for the 06-07 season. Say next summer for like a 1 or 2 month period. I cant have any changes to my stuff during the season, if the Bucks would happen to get lucky.

Let me know what you think of this bet, and then we can e-shake on it!

I hope some people haven't forgot about this.......
