No. While he was trying to get a trophy. He was at about 42,000 reputation. So since my rep power is worth about 3,000 reputation, I gave about 6 or 7 old school reps to lend a hand. A trophy was clearly awarded to the poster who got it through kindness and the other was handed a nice big can of nothing for his hard work.
Reputation is awarded differently. Thanks represents 1 rep. Barely anything. Old school rep represents the rep power of the poster, or 1 percent of his total reputation (mostly). I have over 300,000 reputation, so my rep power was 3,000. 3,000 • 6 = 18,000. 60,000 reputation = the amount needed to get close to the trophy Andrew desired. Check the User CP for details or the bottom of any member's profile. Check reputation. I don't know about rep points, because I haven't seen them.
