to be fair, he was also drugged out of his mind during that entire period. so, it's quite easily excusable. after all, once he kicked the habit the same guy ended up publicly criticizing mtv for discriminating against blacks only a few years later too.His newest CD (which came out Friday, I believe?) is fantastic. Bowie was a true musician. And while I find some of his fascist-sympathies in the mid-70s ridiculous, that is far outweighed by what he did for the LGBTIA community and the music he created.
Seriously, as a hobby-musician, Bowie's work is magnificent. He will be truly remembered as a legend. This month has sucked. Bowie, Scott Weiland, and Lemmy all passing away. Tough month to be a music lover.
