Rondo & Powell to DAL for Wright, Crowder, Nelson, '15 1st, future 2nd (Woj)

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
No but seriously, this team looks so well balanced right now:
True passing point guard
Slashing 2 guard
Complete wing in Parsons
One of the best strech 4's ever
Defensive minded center

I just don't see any holes in their starting line up.
Plus, this team is coached by a top 3 coach in the NBA.

Without Nelson, Crowder and Wright, the bench looks a little thin right now, but can still offer solid contribution (Barea, Harris, Felton, Aminu).

If you want to create a well balanced, complete NBA team, that's pretty much how you'd do it, tbh.
Wow...

Love Rondo's game.. He is gonna shine in Dallas with all scorers around him.

Makes the West that much tougher, and for basketball fans.. Its very exciting.

I'll reserve judgment till after the trade deadline to see what Griffin manages to come up with. I thought there were better ways to address the team's lack of depth during the off-season than to give away all their second draft picks and quickly burn through a lot of their other assets, but then again I'm not running an NBA franchise so it's easy for me to say.

But Brandan Wright won't be available for the TPE, unless the Cavs include something, which is too bad because I think he would be good here.

Part of me thinks that Boston got our 2016 pick plus Tyler Zeller for nothing so they sort of owe of Wright, but I tend to doubt that Danny Ainge sees things that way.

I'd look at both Wright as well as Crowder next off-season. Wright will likely be tough to do unless the Cavs manage to find a create way to use Haywood's contract. Maybe he won't play much in Boston which will suppress his market value.

Crowder is a low usage wing, and shouldn't cost much (as a free agent in the summer). He had lost minutes in Dallas to Aminu, whom I thought the Cavs should have pursued, and Dallas ended up signing for the league minimum. Anyway, Crowder is a young, defense-oriented player who could assume Marion's role, not that I think that Marion is really the problem with this team.

If Griffin could snag any of the rotational centers from Boston I'd be happy with it (yes, that includes possibly getting Zeller back). Boston is an interesting situation for us because we have had a recent trade record with them. Not only that, they are a rebuilding team and have a surplus of bigs.

Thank god we play in the Eastern Conference, that's all I have to say.

Wrong thread.

Wright seems like a guy who is there for grabs and fits our biggest need we just gotta ask. No way hes part of their future

Plus, his salary fits our trade exception and he is also an expiring contract as well.

That is of course we can't get another wing player, or snag Mozgov from Denver or Koufos from Memphis.

Was watching Hawks vs Mavs and to be honest Rondo does not fit their offense.
he stops the ball movement and he doesn't have a triple threat so he's useless unless he plays the PnR then again Dallas offensive scheme is ball movement that is reliant on shootes and penetrations.. they don't have a main ball handler and I think it was a plus that's why you didn't really feel Jameer hurt them at all, atleast he could shoot 3's.
