The post game presser questions to our big three are so weak. High school paper level.

Kyrie is literally chuckling at shaking his head at Vardon's questions. No respect for him whatsoever, and Bron didn't even answer.

Yeah none of them wanted to even answer. Love mustered up some generic answer and they moved on.

Also Kyrie is Mr. 24/7 Corporate Talk :D

Can't imagine Vardon staying employed for long with the way he's been going. He has literally no goodwill what so ever in the organization it seems.

Pretty much as good as you can hope for the first game. I liked that there was some adversity instead of just a blowout, will get the guys in the right mentality. After that early Boston lead it was just one guy after another stepping up.

I wonder about game 2 and what the Celtics will do differently. They went zone for a couple possessions and got burned. Isiah Thomas is their bench spark plug but got abused defensively, and Shump can lock him down. Olynyk could give us problems, especially off the bench. Hes a good enough 3 point shooter and high energy guy. Tyler Zeller of all people had it going early but then was benched and became a non-factor in the 2nd half. Olynyk wasnt nearly as effective going against the 1st team. We even saw the Hack-a-Shaq briefly on Tristan, and Blatt just put Mozgov in instead.

We didnt even go much to Lebron in the post on Turner/Crowder, and never put in the true small lineup. Cards to play for later on if needed. They did seem to late double Lebron fairly far from the basket and it seemed to throw him off a bit, they forced a couple turnovers and bad possessions that way, and the open guy wasnt immediately obvious. Will be something to see how they adjust for in game 2.

Somehow we got 29 bench points in this one, which is like triple normal.

Damn its been a long time, glad to be back to watching games that matter.

What an atmosphere.. thanks again to @wuck for the awesome contest idea and the tickets.

I took a bunch of pictures & videos (not sure how those came out) and will post those as well as some thoughts on the game, the atmosphere, etc shortly.

SHHH, don't tell a few select posters here that. The crowd was mediocre at best according to them.

I was there too. It was both.

It was a weak Cleveland playoff crowd. And it was still insane. Can't wait for these playoffs to pick up steam.

The atrocious reffing killed nearly all the crowd momentum in the first quarter, and it took a long time for the vibe to come back around.
