ROUND 2 GAME 3 | CAVS (1-1) @ BULLS (1-1) | MAY 8TH, 2015 | 8:00 PM ET

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
I posted this yesterday before game 2:

Let's all hope that the amount of anxiety/nausea I feel is positively correlated with Cavs wins. Because if that's the case today, we're winning by like 150 points and going on to win the NBA championship.

I'm feeling much less anxious right now. Gonna need some people to help ramp up the anxiety once again before tomorrow night.

Odds are JR is gonna be rusty this game. He might knock down a couple from downtown, but I'm not expecting too much from him this first game back. He hasn't played forever, probably have a new role (off the bench), and will probably have nerves and will be pressing a bit (trying to make up for letting his team down).

Hopefully I'm wrong, but I don't see a huge game. I'd be happy if he chipped in a semi efficient 10-12 points. The biggest immediate effect is that he deepens/changes our rotations and spaces the floor, which will have a huge impact in itself.

Just looking for defense from JR along the perimeter which will allow LeBron a bit more time on Pau...

The same rules that applied to the team before game 1 now applies to JR... He's had close to 2 weeks off before this game, so I'm not expecting a good rhythm from him offensively....

i just don't want JR playing with the 2nd unit, dribbling the air out of the ball and taking horrible shots with added responsibility
I think you might be confusing JR for Dion. :chuckle:
From what I've seen from JR this year, I've rarely seen him "dribble the air out of the ball". He seems to be a quick decision-maker and either shoots, drives, or passes.

Ready to see some of this lineup.

Irving
Smith
Shump
LeBron
Tristan

And if we can get last night's version of James Jones again, that would be great.

In my opinion, having JR out there is more about having another body out there for game 3. He doesn't need to have a huge scoring night. It'll be nice to have him defend and take some load off Shumpert, and hopefully allow other guys to get some rest.

But it would be awesome for him to come in and be on fire from 3 point land. You never know with JR. I do know that when he came back from the suspension after the altercation with Jason Terry, he was playing very poorly. We'll see what he brings.

At least it's not Dion Waiters we're getting back !!! Amirite ????

I miss the puppets...

Anyone think Thibs may start Taj Gibson for game 3? Seems like he could be looking for a change and Noah has been SOOOO bad.

I had the Cavs winning in 7 before Love went down....so right now just hoping we somehow win this series even tho to me the Bulls are just so much deeper and they have a lot more room for error. That said, so much seemed to go wrong in game 1 and we still only lost by 5ish.

He has 0 options at the 3 outside of Butler. Both Mirotic and Gibson are too slow to stay in front of LBJ. That being said. I hope we see more of Mirotic.
