Whoa, what a roller coaster of emotions that game was.
From the first few minutes, I immediately thought this was another feel out game and it's going to be a hard contest.
Then all of a sudden, Cleveland remains close and gets over the hurdle and I am digging it.
JR goes absolutely ape-shit in the 3rd and beginning of 4th and I am ecstatic.
All of a sudden, 4 point game with less than a minute. Blah, I was seriously dumbfounded, boo.
Free throws and a clutch dunk by James seals the win.
So I was happy, horny, angry, mad and hungry throughout this game. Just too many emotions, I feel spent and I sat on my fat ass on the couch for 3 hours.
Seriously though, hell of an effort by the team tonight. JR Smith was HUGE, one of the keys to beating Atlanta is guarding Korver and Smith took over his role as simply unstoppable beyond the arc. 28 points and a record in the postseason for 3s earned him an on court interview with TNT afterwards. Another key contributor was TT, 14 and 10 and even Mosgov had a double-double (10 and 11).
Of course, James is James but aside from the individual standpoint, look at the team stats. +12 on the boards and defending the 3 from a team with Korver to just 17% is astonishing.
Just an all around good effort by our guys tonight, the Cavs gut punched the Hawks and now with the Hawks in the unknown with a key guy and just how they lost this game that, let's be honest, was their's to take, only time will tell...
I was scared of Teague but then when JR got hot, even though Teague wasn't guarding him, he seemed to have disappeared. Also, I am not happy at the injury but its a breath of fresh air for it to be on the opponent as opposed to a Cavs player.
