I was just thinking about this - this is the fifth out of six playoff games this team has had on the road. That's a very tough stretch! That's, so far, 3-1 (and 5-1 overall on the road) in very hostile environments, on the road, against very quality competition. With a chance to go 4-1 and maybe start thinking about our next road trip being out west. (someone unjinx me please). Anyway, it was just a startling yet impressive realization. Championship teams must win on the road, and this team has done that and then some.

I get your point, and it's a good one.

I just remember the 1987 Minnesota Twins. Won about 85 game, lucked into home-field all through the playoffs (because it rotated), and won the World Series, possibly without winning on the road. I'm sure there have been champions who never won on the road. Why is why home-court counts for a lot.
