Its hard to corroborate because the story keeps changing. One story has this happening at the hotel in Boston, another has it happening after the party Lebron threw at his house after he received the MVP award. I doubt we will ever really know the truth about this, but I bet that if Delonte gets waived this summer, someone will dig up this thread and declare this rumor as truth.

This his emphasis is on the "completely true," implying that this story isn't one of those true stories, hence the lies, libel, etc.

-This story isn't fit for print.
-There are plenty of true sad/funny/great Delonte stories that aren't fit for print.
-This qualifies as a false Delonte story not fit for print.
He just worded it weird.

I have to say, I've read that Windy tweet quite a few times, and then looked back at past tweets, and read his recent articles, but I still have no idea what the hell is was saying or trying to say. It came from left field with no basis or reference. It also was a quote that stated many stories are NOT fit for print, but then stated this story is..... but no story was posted.

All these "higher-up" sources and whatnot are never named. I get that. When it comes to trades or behind-the-scenes business stuff in the league, you don't want to name sources so they don't get fired and/or you don't lose the trust of said source. Usually these sources tend to quiet down after a trade rumor or whatever is debunked, or the deadline passes, etc.
But, in the case of this off-the-court rumor, which has been vehemently rebuked by both the most respected Cavs' beat writer AND the legal staff of LeBron and Gloria, then how the hell can these "sources" keep up this nonsense? I hate that radio today has become a venue for Howard Stern-type discussions and BS. Howard Stern pioneered the vulgarity and openness of radio, but these people will do anything for ratings now.
