Sarah Palin May Not Be The Mother of the 5th Child???

JUNEAU -- Gov. Sarah Palin shocked and awed just about everybody around the Capitol on Wednesday when she announced she's expecting her fifth child.

Palin said she's already about seven months along, with the baby due to arrive in mid-May.

That the pregnancy is so advanced astonished all who heard the news. The governor, a runner who's always been trim, simply doesn't look pregnant.

Even close members of her staff said they only learned this week their boss was expecting.

"I thought it was becoming obvious," Palin said. "You know, clothes getting snugger and snugger."

But people just couldn't believe the news.

"Really? No!" said Bethel state Rep. Mary Nelson, who is close to giving birth herself.

"It's wonderful. She's very well-disguised," said Senate President Lyda Green, a mother of three who has sometimes sparred with Palin politically. "When I was five months pregnant, there was absolutely no question that I was with child."

Palin said she's not aiming to take any time off from her job as governor, assuming all goes well with the pregnancy.

With Palin riding extraordinarily high popularity ratings, pundits have mentioned her as a potential vice presidential candidate. But she said Wednesday night she's "not pursuing or perpetuating it," adding, "I have no desire to leave my job at all as governor."

you my friend are an idiot if you believe every women shows he same at 7 months. The taller you are the less likely to show. Also, all babies sit differently. Why would she fake a pregnancy. There a woman that can go almost a whole pregancy and not show. Every pregnancy is different.

She hid the pregnancy b.c her underage daughter got knocked up. & please.. your telling me a 7 month pregnant women can sit with her legs crossed like this?

She is pro-line, against abortion, anti-birth control...

I heard about this Friday early evening, and its picking up heavy steam across the blogosphere in the last couple of days.

Im not touching it until more info is revealed on it though. Something as sacred as this...

Coming off some of the propoganda Obama just went through, where I myself had a couple questions even after reading both of his books before the allegations started. So I felt I had a pretty good understanding of the kind of guy he is, then some of the propoganda was so well put together, I had to do some secondary research on some of it.

So, there is some validity though to whats posted in the initial post by TripleA... I just didnt want to perpetuate something until there was more validity to it, so I chose not to post about this in the OBama thread.

Her daughter missing ALOT of time at school has been documented and its in the press, and those guys are on the trail, so...

It was kind of weird how yesterday in Pennsylvania when Palin took the stage, she said that her daughter was in the trailor caring for the newborn.

I'm reserving judgement tho

Some of her classmates have said they have seen her pregnant but no official proof yet...

yes, its rare, but some 9 month pregnant woman can sit like that. Woman in their 40's are much more likely to deliver a baby with down syndrome than a woman in her teen years. So, if we are using circumstancial evidence, which that is all this is, the fact the baby has downs supports it being hers and not her daughters.

This is from an article on down syndrom. Basicaly there is a 36 times greater chance that a baby with down is born to a mother in her 40's than one in her 30's. It would be even less for a tean age mother. But, lets not let the facts get in our way of judging someone. You seem to have taken a personal stance on this Lee...

I dont necesarily think its ignorant. But you know what, I totally feel where you are coming from Lee. Because I felt how you feel right now, in March. When everyone realized that Obama was going to be the Dem nominee, suddenly the press and everybody took the vetting process public and went through everything. Remember Stephanopolus... and I was holding my breath when they went in front of Russert, who I knew was a bulldog and would get to the bottom of ANYTHING

So, you had your mind made up on McCain, and now you have to go through the press core and easily persuaded public getting to know Palin all over again. Problem with this is, is that it wil take time for her to be vetted all the way by the press and voting public.... and I dont know if 60 days is going to be enough time for all the hills and valleys to be worked out.

Im interested in seeing the process of her going through what Obama went through, Im interested in seeing her go through all that in a fraction of the time.

With only 1 debate scehduled, dont be surprised to see how everyone puts her to the test man. And try not to take it personal, after all... we are talking about the next vice president who ix going to have a MUCH higher probability of having to step in to the office taking into consideration McCains age adn health concerns as eluded to by Gour

McCain was married when he met his current wife, and he has reportdly cheated on Cindy. Not trying to get into a battle on the morrals of the candidates. Just hate the press making assumption and anyone that buys into their propaganda on either side


Richfield. If you go back through the Obama thread, I whole heartedly defend Obama and his "issues" with rev wright and the real estate deal just as adimately. I hate when non issue clout the campaigns. I am not 100% sold on McCain, and try and look at things objectively. About the only thing more offensive than questioning someones race, gender or religion is questioning someone's paternity to their kid. Now this election has it all.

Yea thats true... I actually specifically remember you saying that you dont care for the personal crap when I first started reading your posts. Good call, my bad on the personal bit.

But as much as you didnt like all that crap during the primaries... get ready for a whole nother chapter with every media outlet solely focused on bringing her skeletons to light.

Sucks, but now that the candidate I support has been through it, I wouldnt ask anything less of anyone else who is going to be a choice on the ballot
