Sasha Kaun

I root for the big guy, but it seems this was the year for Kaun to show the league something and he just plays timidly. I focus on his odd mannerisms, maybe because he's not out there much. He kind of glides around and I'm never sure what he's trying to accomplish. I was expecting an oafish, physical defensive presence, but he doesn't really play that way.

Well, he's played in the big show and made a living in the game for years. That's more than most ball players accomplish.

How long is Kaun's contract? If it goes through next year is there any way we could trade him anything, even a second rounder, just to get him off our roster?

Nothing against Kaun, he's fine as a teammate, but I feel that his roster spot would be better utilized in another way.

He's got one more year left, and I was thinking the same thing. I'd rather have a young, developmental bench/practice big if we are going to have one.

All of our seconds are gone though, so unless we just offer cash considerations to pay for him and for price of doing it then I don't know what we could offer. I guess at that point it just makes more sense to cut him though.

Maybe we will see the Cavs pay a team to take his 1.2+ million expiring contract. Yeah, I don't see him remaining on the roster, but he isn't an asset either.
