Are you suggesting when Kemp was invited to the prestigious B/C All-Star Camp prior to his freshman year and on his first day, in which he outplayed Terry Mills he went back to his hotel— a hotel that Gloria James found herself in (the hotel lobby in fact) of the Richfield Holiday Inn ??

Only to lead Kemp into a life of mischief all the while seducing him every step of the way —which ultimately led Shawn Kemp going to community college for poor decisions such as the following:

Kemp could be Cuban… What he was doing in ‘89 was not a 20 year old)

I believe Shawn Kemp is really 57 years old….But I’m just speculating

Kemp's body was similar to James. He also some skills that James never developed. His post presence was much better.

The Tacoma Dome.

My mortal enemy.

Everyday I had to drive by it twice. On the way home from Fort Lewis to Seattle, I-5 turns at the Tacoma Dome and is a great chokepoint where traffic backs up.

If you didn't make it past the Tacoma Dome by 3:45 in the afternoon, you were not making it to Seattle in under an hour.

If it was past 4:15, you were not getting into Seattle before 6:00.

Also, the Tacoma Aroma starts within sight of the Dome, going both ways.

From everything I've seen and heard, yes. Kemp was my favorite player as a kid (the only family portrait I ever took was in a Kemp jersey). I'll see if I can find an article where he talks about it.
