First reaction - the Angels aren't as good as everyone thinks... at least I don't think so. They are 5-0 (when my 2 fantasy players) Jered Weaver and Dan Haren start, yet 0-4 when anyone else starts. Honestly, even their line-up doesn't look too threatening.

What happened to the old Angels?

They have a fantastic 1-2 punch in Weaver and Haren, then after that, their entire team doesn't look too impressive.

Series Prediction: Indians 2 - Angels 1

Angels should take tomorrow nights game with Haren on the mound.

Kendrick is having a heck of a start.

For sure, and Abreu is doing pretty well too. But still... I AIN'T SCURRED!

This is just a thought that maybe we (once people gather in this thread) can talk about... I think the Tribe could attempt to move Hafner, with the way he's hitting to #3. It's definitely something to think about once Grady gets back too. People were worried that Hafner may clog up the basepaths for Grady... well going with Brantley, ACabrera, Hafner, Santana, Choo?, and then Grady, could definitely work as a very potent line-up as well. We'll see.

God, this is a tough one. The homer in me says we will take 2 games out of 3, but the realist in me says we will probably only win 1 game. We'll see.

nvm

If we can get 2 out of 3 then I'll be more than happy.

Game 1 Matchup will actually be Mitch Talbot vs. Tyler Chatwood, a rookie making his MLB debut.

The link has more information on Chatwood.

So game 2 will be Carmona vs. Haren, and game 3 will be Carrasco vs. Ervin Santana

Edit: Looks like Chatwood has a fastball that can get up into the mid-90s, with decent secondary stuff. Had a 2.84 ERA last year in 155.1 innings last year in AAA. Hopefully we will benefit from some first MLB action jitters.

Ah shit, alright. I'll fix that thank you. The Cleveland site had a "?" for Monday and my fantasy team said Haren was the probable pitcher... but I'm going with what you found. It makes more sense.

Hate to say it, but the fun ends tomorrow. It's been a great ride, but to this point we've been playing the equivalent of the Armco Heating & Cooling Softball Team. Now we are up against a real team.....a team that will take all 3 games from us. Some of you are grossly overrated this cast of misfits.

game 1 - Boom Haren is 2-0 with a 1.15 ERA!!!!! Guaranteed loss.
game 2 - Ervin "Magic" Santana's ERA is almost 6 RUNS lower than Fausto's. 6 FARKING RUNS LOWER!
game 3 - Dont even care who they pitch...after losing 2 in a row the wheels will come off and the sweep will be a lock.

0-3 - 83%
1-2 - 14%
2-1 - 2.9%
3-0 - 0.1%

Just in case you didn't know. Nothing is guaranteed. The Indians really weren't supposed to win the games they have so far. Hell look at the Red Sox. They are this years champs right?

The Tribe is playing small ball and working their asses off. Remember the LA team in 2002? No one thought they could do anything either.

Go Tribe!

Hahaha well like me, you'll have to edit your post after seeing what I did.

Game 1 - MLB debut? A complete toss-up now.
Game 2 - Haren... = L (most likely)
Game 3 - Depends more or less on the outcomes of the first 2. I still think there's a chance we can knock around Santana for a few and win.
