Just saw this on ESPN, maybe the Heat will actually be able to salvage some of the season and finish with a somewhat respectable record.
INDIANAPOLIS -- Miami will have stars Shaquille O'Neal and Dwyane Wade together in the lineup for the first time since November against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
O'Neal missed the past 35 games while recovering from knee surgery. Wade will start after sitting out Monday's game against the New York Knicks with a sprained left ankle.
O'Neal, a key component to the Heat's NBA title run last season, had surgery Nov. 19. The 7-foot-1, 325-pound center has only played in four games this season, averaging 14 points and 7.5 rebounds. He will back up Alonzo Mourning on Wednesday, the team said.
The Heat have struggled without O'Neal, entering Wednesday's game with a 19-22 record.
Wade has averaged 28.2 points per game this season, fifth-best in the league.
