No he'd just go hate on Tiger Woods or someone else who excels at sports. The problem is he is like the boy who cried wolf and his act has gotten old. In this situation I think it was weak that they took the videos but hey rules are rules. But everytime anything happens with Bron good or bad this man is complaining and never is saying anything positive. I mean he probably still thinks if Bron and Kobe switched teams the Cavs would have won the championship despite still being at a mismatch disadvantage. Chris Broussard was right Lebron and Kobe are put up to ridiculous standards that even Jordan and other superstars prior to him were never put up to.

Bayless is an embarrassment to sports media, and the media in general. "1st and 10" is the epitome of what ESPN has become.

But, I'm surprised that LeBron and Nike were so shortsighted with this. Censorship is bad for publicity and only adds more gas to the fire. And I'd be willing to bet it wasn't even that great of a dunk.

This is really not a story!! One guy rights a story and in the story he ASSumes LeBron was so embarassed by the kid dunking on him that he called Nike and had the tapes pulled. It makes no sense. Courtney Lee dunked on LBJ twice in the ORL series and LeBron gave him a pat on the back for it. This was on NATIONAL TV. Now all of a sudden James is so image conscious that he goes KGB on two cameramen.

All the talking heads immediate see an opportunity to tear down what they've built up (as is always the case)...never mind getting the complete story just run with your agenda.

Parrish goes on to write some flimsy excuse about not ever seeing the policy (Nike states they have for events). Well riddle me this Mr. Parrish why were there only TWO cameras filming the pick up games? Why have there never been footage of these counselor v pros pickup games at these events....NONE? Why did the camera men give up their footage if they werent in the wrong?

I really see why Sheed treats the media the way he does.

Parrish handed the tape over because they told him he was going to get it back the next day but obviously they lied to him and he's not getting it back.

At the time they had confiscated the tape, they pickup game was going on during scheduled camp hours, not after hours like Nike claims.

The media is getting the complete story, theyve talked to jordan crawford and many other people that were there. This isnt some hazy 'my sources say:' kind of bs. This is as simple as it gets, you have multiple people at the event all telling the exact same story.

Its just really sad that Lebron and Nike had to turn this into such a circus instead of just giving the guy the damn tape and releasing it. Complete BS move on their part. :thumbdown

1.The guy who recorded went to the media relations people before the games started and they said it was fine for him to record there. They saw him recording the whole day, but not until Lebron talked to the Nike official, then he confiscated the tapes right after.
