I was out of Internet and cell service for the past nine days. This thread is...interesting.
First, Mo wasn't the best backup point guard the Cavs could have signed.
Next, this acquisition was compared to Lamarcus Aldridge.
Later, this signing was labeled bad because Mo struggled in the postseason in his last Cavs stint. He was at least adequate in 2010.
Eventually, Wesley Johnson was brought up as a guy the Cavs should have gone after in place of Mo Williams.
Finally people realize how great it is to have this guy and what he's all about back with the team, and we're starting to realize that he's a very good talent to be a bench player.
The guy put up over 17 a game post all-star break for a team that was fighting for a playoff berth. He knows how to play, and more importantly, over the last couple seasons with Utah/Minnesota/Charlotte, he's learned how to take on a veteran/mentor role.
He's going to be invaluable.
