Ya, the whole pregnancy was part of the elaborate ruse to get Jax to sign a restraining order, and at the same time ended up signing divorce papers with Tara. So now she's going to try for full custody and move the kids away.

This show started off pretty ridiculously and not believable, and it has gotten more and more outrageous every year, but it's still a guilty pleasure I can't stop watching

Actually that sequence was pretty important when you think about it. Tara is going to try to take his kids from him, and that entire speech that Venus' mom made before Jax killed her could have just as easily been directed at Jax. About how his kid will grow up and hate Venus, you could tell Jax took that shit serious. Just kind of gave a window on how important Jax's kids are to him and will help play out this whole Tara situation.

I then come on this thread to try and put the pieces together. Again, I never liked Tara or Jax-- so it's a hard sell for me.
Does Tara even love Jax? That one sex scene was awkward like she was dead to it and just laid there and let him do the work.

Jax promised to leave the sons. Tara gave up her career pretty much twice. Watching otto kill the nurse. Going to jail and facing prison time. Child almost killed in club explosion. Its pretty clear why Tara is so fucked up now.
