Steve francis?

Do Not Sell My Personal Information
Well i believe he won't play to win unless we get his boyfriend on the team, He's very turnover prone and well, he's a SG in a PG's body and we have one of those already. Atleast he's better.

Francis has tons of talent but I don't think his game is a good fit with the Cavs. He needs the ball in his hands a lot and to be a main focus of an offense.

Of the players on that list I think Kirk Hinrich might actually be the best fit with the Cavs. He's a pretty good PG who plays some solid D and can hit the 3. He'd also be more of a fit in the role the Cavs would need him to play. There's no way the Bulls would trade him to Cleveland though.

i noticed he only takes 13 shots a game. I think a lineup with francis hughes and bron could be deadly. Not sure what we could give up for him though. I would definatly want hinrich but they arent going to trade him to another central team would they? Drew for hinrich :)

i just dont think there is any way that we can even get steve let alont us actually wanting him....i dont think he would fit but he is a heck of a talent taht is for sure

Would have to be a 3 way for Steve, because I don't see the Magic wanting Gooden saying they already traded him to us in the first place

Steve Francis is an awesome player, but like you guys have mentioned, he just won't fit in Mike Brown's system. If we are to bring in new players, we want them to be defensive minded who can score. Not scorers who can play a little defense, we want defenders who can play a little offense, because we already have LeBron, Larry (when healthy), Zydrunas who can score.

We need defensive minded players. Bring in Earl Watson.

I read somewhere, I think it was bob finnan who wrote it, but I'm not positive who wrote it. but the rumors was the bulls were shopping gordon.

It will take alot of talent to get a young player like Gordon.

by doing this, we become something like new jersey which lacks frontcourt depth...

only zee, donny and av in the post? not enough...

hold on a second, who is Francis's boyfriend???

francis is great. after all, he's won everywhere he's ever played - well, ok, not exacty won, but he's definitely mediocre. he even made the playoffs once with houston! what'da think of that! he'd fit right in with all of our players that have hardly ever made the playoffs!

maybe his inability to make the playoffs is because he gets less than two assists for every time that he turns the ball over. and this year he's a blistering 23% from three point land. doesn't get much better than stevie franchise.

i would say no thanks to the human turnover, to me Francis isn't a PG and that is where he would have to play in Cleveland.

however i would be interested in either Hinrich or Watson. although trading for Watson's contract might be harmful in the long run.
