The officials didn't blow the game, the 49er's players did.
Maybe not throw a two yard Pat Shurmer pass on third down outside of the endzone? Then a fade route that was arguably not even catchable. With the offensive player pushing on the defenders face mask. You don't make a PI call there with the game on the line, sorry.
You can't argue with the playcall. They were supposed to have a fair shot at the endzone on 4th down. They got robbed.
The ball was absolutely catchable. Stop it.
Offensive player was pushing to get free of the BLATANT HOLD.
You make a holding call there whether the game is on the line or not. It's the rules. They become even more important when the game is on the line.
And the 49ers didn't blow anything. They got down big early. One could say that the deficit was a wake up call and helped them rise to the occasion. Runs are a part of sports. They had an awful first half. The Ravens got thoroughly outworked in the 2nd half. It's called momentum, and it's part of the nature of sports.
Answer the questions. If the 49er's scored a touchdowns in the first half, would they have won the game? Did the 49er's play a full game? Did they abandon their QB running the ball after the Ravens went up by a few points?
What the fuck is this trash? I'll answer them for you.
If they would have scored a touchdown in the first half every single thing in the game would have been different. You don't just add 7 to the score in hindsight. It would have changed the complexion of the game. An early Niners TD could have prevented the Ravens from stepping off the gas a bit later, etc. Horribly stupid question.
Yes, the 49ers were on the field for 60 minutes. Another fantastic question.
They abandoned their QB running the ball? I forgot you can just do whatever you want with no regard for the defense you're playing. The Ravens were doing a good job containing Kaep and the gameplan forced him to throw the ball. It's not like Harbaugh just decided, "Hey guys...the Ravens scored. Let's not run the ball anymore." Awful.
You're just being a hipster and it's painfully obvious.
