If they're lucky, they'll pull a Spurs when the General went out, and they won the lottery.
The spurs didn't skip a beat when they lost Avery Johnson. He wasn't nearly as good as Gary "the catchers mitt" Payton.

I'll tell you though, those spurs have had some legendary players. My favorite possibly being George "The Methamphetamine Man" Gervin.

Wall is just a poor man's Rose. Beal seemed to be in a race to be a shooting specialist and I guess Korver beat him out; I was surprised he wasn't a select team member. Millsap was in a battle to be the last bigman and he isn't all that big.

Paul "lying ass" pierce
Andrei "9mm" kirilenko
Caron "expired oj" Butler
Rafer "ring around the rosie" Austin

Glad to see Irving still in the team and beating out Wall. But i really don't want him to get injured...

basketball players play basketball in the offseason. basketball players are more likely to get injured with their trainers than playing olympic basketball.

can we give this stuff a rest.

Team USA probably made LeBron a better player then he was at the time. I'm hoping the same happens to Irving. He's young and hopefully he will learn during this experience.

If Irving makes the final team it will be really nice for Kyrie to get some experience playing in games with actual pressure akin to a playoff game in the later medal rounds, assuming everything goes as expected of course.
