Red is a terrible choice imo seeing that the postseason shirts are blue. Guess I will have to wear OSU gear like the kid in the picture.
Because the club has such common colors (red, blue, white) it creates a conundrum here for them. If they wear red and end up having to face the Rangers, the Texas players may be reminded of their own fans and almost feel like this is a home game at Arlington. On the other hand, if they wore blue and played the Rays, the Tampa Bay players may mistake the crowd for the empty blue seats of the Trop and also feel like they are playing a home game. Maybe new colors are in order.

Or you just choose the color that nearly every fan who owns an Indians jersey has... WHITE! A whiteout would look so much better than 60% of the crowd wearing Ohio State gear because that's the only red sports gear they own.

White outs are racist

This isn't even a fake idea. Penn State marketing, I've been told, receives a ton of complaint e-mails before whiteouts about them being racist.

As somebody who has a useless degree in Sports Marketing, I've been trained to see racism in everything.

That said, I'll wear my red hat Wednesday, but there's not a chance in hell that I'm not going to wear my Masterson jersey.

Unless you're front row, the hat works fine. Red drowns out other color. Blue (dark) and blackouts don't work when people here and there wear light colors.

So with that 10 game winning streak and push into the playoffs did Tito win himself manager of the year or is it going to go to Farrell?

Writers had to submit their votes for manager of the year last Tuesday, while the streak was still going on. Farrell is the favorite.

east coast bias says farrell. not sure when the vote is taken but if indians win tomorrow (Which they wont) i think tito made one hell of a late push

edit shoes answered my question.. naturally a "of the year" vote is taken before the end of the season... BRILLIANT :thumbdown

Buster Olney said his vote for AL Rookie of the Year goes to Cody Allen.
